Micheal was happily lounging in the forest that surrounded the mansion on the hill, resting on a tree branch contently. That is until he heard an awfully familiar voice. "Hello, angel."
Michael groaned when he turned to face Ashton hovering beside him, the angel giggling in reply. "Leave me alone," The demon turned away from Ashton which caused him to fall off the branch. Before Michael could open his wings, Ashton caught the demon in his arms. "Let me go!"
"Angel, yelling won't do you any good, you know," Ashton reprimanded Michael. The angel tightened his grip around Michael's small body, mindful of the sharp intrusions on Michael's wings. "Be nice to me, and maybe I'll consider letting you go."
"I was just trying to relax today," Michael whined, struggling in Ashton's strong and warm hold. Those same tingles buzzed over Michael's skin, igniting an energy that wasn't there before. "I wasn't even going to go into town!"
"If we're taking a break from our jobs, we should hang out then," Ashton grinned deviously - something that should not sit well on an angel's face, but it fit Ashton's perfectly. "Calum was so disappointed that you immediately took off after work. He'd be glad to see you today."
Michael hissed, baring his fangs at Ashton in a last minute resort to scare Ashton enough to release him. As expected, it didn't work. Ashton giggled again, bopping Michael on his nose that twitched like a bunny's. "Let me go, you winged bitch!"
"Angel, baby," Ashton wrapped his arms tighter around Michael, the demon's soft tummy squished against the angel's hard abdomen. "We won't hurt you. We just want to get to know you better."
Michael put his hands on Ashton's pectorals, pushing against the muscles to try and free himself. Once again, it still did nothing to help his situation. Michael huffed, falling limp against the angel, his face mashed into the soft, white tunic all angels wore. "Make it quick, Ashton."
Ashton smiled, dimples pressed deep into his cheeks as he took off with Michael in his arms, heading up into the clouds. Of course, demons couldn't enter heaven, but that didn't mean they couldn't rest easy on the clouds below the place. They just chose not to because it was too warm, too bright, and too soft. But Michael secretly liked the feeling when Ashton set him down on a fluffy mass of pillowy softness.
It was like being surrounded by soft, fuzzy kittens, all warm and gentle against the demon's skin. Not long after Ashton left to get the other two angels, Michael closed his eyes with a quiet yawn and fell into a very light slumber. Everything was so comfortable, and being surrounded by comforting things wasn't something Michael was used to.
Slowly, in the distance, the sound of wings flapping grew in volume until he felt the gentle breeze of air blow over his face. With a mewl Michael didn't mean to let escape, he sat up and stretched lazily like a cat. His eyes opened, squinting from the brightness around him, and focused his vision on the three very annoying angels he reluctantly agreed to spend the day with. "Comfortable, angel?" Calum inquired, arms folded across his chest as he hovered over Michael.
Michael stubbornly nodded his head, not wanting to speak. His tail curled around his waist, the sharp end of his tail accidentally slicing a piece of cloud off the rest, the fragments of mist dissipating into thin air. "Angel, don't be like that," Luke pouted, poking Michael's cheek to which he received a bite on the finger from Michael. Michael's black eyes stared at Luke, expecting some sort of reaction to his rude behavior. "It didn't hurt if that was what you were hoping for."
"I think our little angel is cranky because we woke him up from his lazy nap," Ashton spoke up when all four boys went quiet, one waiting for the other to speak. "Is that it, angel?"
Michael grumbled under his breath, curling into a ball, and sunk deeper into the cloud until only the tips of his horns and wings were visible. "I'm cranky because I didn't even want to come here in the first place. But I'm here now, so what do you guys want from me?"
Michael popped his head out of the cloud, a tuft of cloud stuck on top of his head. He tried shaking it off, but it was stuck to him like glue. Michael grumbled a few more choice words and waited for one of the three de- angels to talk.
"What do we want from you?" Ashton hummed, mulling the question over in his head. Calum tapped at his chin, the universal sign of "thinking". Luke raised a brow at Michael, lips pulled into a soft grin.
"What don't we have want from you, would be a better question," Luke caressed Michael's face, enjoying the feeling of the demon's smooth pale skin, just the smidge of stubble under his jaw to excite Luke. Luke leaned down to Michael's level, whispering into the demon's ear, "We want everything you have until you're nothing without us. We want you begging for us to touch you in a way that even sinners like you would think disgusting and pathetic, angel."
Michael wondered yet again, how the hell did these three idiots make it to heaven? The Fates must have been drunk when they let Luke, Ashton, and Calum become angels. Michael rolled his eyes even though he felt something brewing in his tummy from Luke's words. "Oh please," Michael said with undoubted ease, even if he felt anything but calm. "The last thing I'd ever do is beg for you three."
The angels laughed at him, filling the air with light and bubbly noise. Michael frowned, not understanding what there was to laugh about. He was being serious! "Oh angel, baby," Ashton managed through his laughing fit. "You'll just have to wait and see."
