Wake Up

Natsu's P.O.V.

I wake up to see the nurse taking care of Lucy. What happened?

"H-He's awake" she says pointing to me.

I groan. I can't feel my side and my head is bangging. I try to speak but cannot. I think i'm gonna vomit. I close my eyes and struggle. I hurt so much.

I open my eyes and the nurse is gone. Lucy looks at her hands.

"I-i'm s-sorry" she tears up.

"You don't need to apologize to me" I say as a pain shoots my side. I jump slightly as it does.

"This is my fault..." she says.

"No...it's not" Why is she blaming herself? I was the one who decided to help her...I knew there were consequenses. This is life bitting me in the ass like always. (Sorry for the expression😂)

"It is...maybe if i'd be more strong you wouldn't have had to step in" she says.

"Don't say that!" That's when it all goes black once again

Levy's P.O.V.

Meeting just ended and I can't find Lucy! Where is she!?

I go to the nurse just in case. I see Lucy and in the floor Natsu Dragneel?!

"Levy-Chan!" She says. She stands then falls to the ground into the bed where Natsu is.

"Oh my gosh are you ok?!" I hurry over to her and help her up.

"It's fine"

"What happened!?"

"I got beat up again" she tears up. Oh no! This is my fault. I shoudv'e skipped todays meeting.

"Did he do this!?" I say pointing at Natsu. Because if he did I will break him more than he already is.

"No Levy...he helped me...he tried to stop who did...but...he got beat up as well...worse than me actually..."

"Where's the nurse?" I say looking around the office. She points outside.

"She left you here alone!?"

"No Levy...the principal called her and I said she could go"

I take a deep breath. Well he did help my best friend out...the least I could do is take them both to the hopital.

"Alright...help me pick him up"

"What are you gonna do?" Lucy says weakly.

"I'm gonna take you both to the hospital" I say looking down at Natsu.

Time skip: At the hospital

Lucy's P.O.V.

"Take these to help you sleep and these are to relieve pain...if you get pain even after you drank the pills come back again..." the doctor says to me.

I nod.

"What about him?" Levy says looking at Natsu.

"Well he's somewhat more complicated...he seems to have a few fractured ribs but not broken...he is in deep pain due to the fractures which is why I gave him a heavy dose of morphine...you can take him home now..."

Natsu opens his eyes slightly.

"W-where am I?" Natsu asks. Levy looks at me as if telling me to explain.

"At the hospital...we can go as soon as you're feeling better"
I say quietly.

"Thank you" he says. He sits to then fall down once again and clutch his side groaning. I gasp and so does Levy.

"Take it easy you're pretty beat up" Levy says.

"Well I need to get home" he tries again and swings his legs off the bed.

"Easy now" says the doctor.

Natsu stands and growls in pain holding his side. I'm pretty sure he got hit there more than once.

"Can you guys drive me back to school?...my car is over there"

"Yes" Levy nods. I get up stifly and walk out of the room. Natsu follows panting and then Levy.

The ride to the school is compleatly silenced if they talked I wasn't paying attention. And this didn't change my opinion on who Natsu Dragneel is. He's still mister jerk-neel. We arrive at the front of the school.

Natsu gets down of the car and walks over to his.

Time skip: At Levy's house

I lay in my new bed listening to music. I can't get it out of my head. Why would a popular jerk like him do something like that for a nobody like me? I place the sleeping pill in my mouth and instantly drift into sleep.

Inside dream

I am in a black and white tiled room. A huge black piano sits in the middle and there is an elegant red carpet on the floor. I look around to find no exit or doors.

"Take a seat" a evil voice says. I do as it says. I walk over to the piano and sit on the chair. I am still looking at my soroundings.

"I know you Lucy...I am with you everywere...I never leave your side...I...I'm the one that can make your pain go...away...how about you play a toon for me..." the voice says.

"I don't know how to play" I say looking at the piano.

"Yes...you do" my hands move against my will and begin to play tunes.

Then I hear a door open. And look back without stoping the music. I see...Natsu!?

What is he doing here!?

"Lucy!? Stop!" He yelled at me. The door closed behind him and dissapered as soon as it did.

"What are you doing here!?" I yelled at him. Wait I can't stop playing music!

"Stop playing! Whatever you do don't give in!" With that he drops to the floor. I whip back to the piano. And notice the room is starting to flood with black liquid.

"Let go Lucy...don't fight it...if you let go i'll make your pain go away...you won't cry anymore...I promise..." the voice says.

"Lucy...don't!"

End of dream

I shoot up into a sitting position. What was that!? And why was Natsu there? He's just a stupid jerk who did something nice only one time in his life!

Get out of my head alredy! I see the clock reads 6:15 a.m. and Levy is still asleep. I don't think she's going to school today and I probably shouldn't either. But I have too. If not the school will report what happened to my parents or notify that I didn't go today.

I get up and start to get ready. I really hope that Gajeel and Natsu don't go.
