Chapter two black magic

I woke up in an empty room strapped to a hospital bed. I tried to wiggle my way out but I could not move.

"Hey," I looked over and saw the girl with the blond hair and mask. She saved me from the box "you will be let out soon. Director H doesn't think you would freak out like that."

"Oh yeah, I'm sure he didn't want to hurt me," I smiled lightly "or I think so, I don't remember anything. I am sure it will all come back."

"Yeah, I have to go kid." she walked out and a man walked in. He had black hair, a narrow face, and a mechanical hand.

"I am director H," he introduced himself "you probably don't remember me but I was your boss. You fought crime and you were good at it too."

"Oh... Okay then." I thought about me doing all of that stuff and it felt amazing. I started to smile.

"But you kinda went all antihero and started fighting for money. You even fought some of our hero's. I don't know who wiped your memories but I am kinda glad that they did. Now you can fight crime again."

"OK, I'll do it. I have to do what's right." My smile faded.

"Good, you can start with the Black Tuesdays tomorrow." He started to leave.

"Black Tuesdays?" I asked but he left before he could answer. I woke up the next morning in a white cloak and a white suit. I don't remember putting it on or anytime putting it in me. I stood up and looked in the mirror. My eyes were still rainbow colors but it didn't hurt anymore.

"Hey kid," the woman with the blonde hair opened the door, she was distracted by her phone.

"What is your name?" I asked.

"It's Victoria... Wait you look familiar." she for closer to get a better look.

"I think I am supposed to go to your team now..." I said uncomfortably.

"Oh yeah, follow me kid." It felt like we were walking forever. There were lots of halls and I got a little lost. She took me to a giant plane with a man working on the windshield.

"Hey Vicky, is that the girl?" I squinted and saw that it was the British guy, Liam.

"I told you not to call me that. What are you doing up there? We have to take off in five minutes!" She scolded him.

"Relax love, I am fixing the glass! Apis broke it sparing with Genome." He explained.

"If those two break one more..." Victoria's face started to get red.

"Who are they?" I asked confused.

"I will introduce you. Apis! Genome! Get down here and meet Quin!" Victoria called.

"My name is Quin?" I asked.

"Yeah, Director H. gave me your files.

"I didn't know he has files of me," I thought "what else does he have?"

"Is that Quin?" I looked up to see a blonde girl. She wore a black suit with a gold symbol on it. It was a golden outline of a cow.

"Yes, I am Quin." I smiled gently. Before I knew it the blonde girl was hugging me.

"I am Apis, we are going to be best friends!" She whispered.

"Um..." I didn't know what to think of this Apis. She seemed immature and annoying.

"I am Genome." A boy floated down. He had black hair and dark brown eyes. He would have looked like a normal boy if it weren't for his green skin.

"I'm Quin." I panted. Apis was still hugging me, cutting off my air.

"Well she is talkative." Liam rolled his eyes.

"Everyone get in the plane!" Victoria yelled impatiently.

"Yes beautiful." Liam walked in and the rest of us followed.

"Let me show you your room Quin." Apis smiled leading me down some hallways. The plane looked much bigger on the inside than on the outside. There was a nice living room with giant leather couches and a glass coffee table. There was a kitchen filled with different kinds of foods. Everything seemed amazing! My room was huge with what looked likes a basketball court.

"Why is there a basketball court?" I asked Apis.

"Its not a basketball field silly. It's a place for sparing!" She laughed.

"Right..." The room went with the white and gold theme which I wasn't too keen on. There was a giant black leather couch.

"Before you ask, no, a giant didn't live here!" She smiled.

"I wasn't going to-"

"He was into giant animals! His tiger ussually sat on the couch! It was awesome!" She smiled. For some reason I seemed to remember some Egyptian mythology. Apis was the goddess of strength but it didnt seem to fit this girls personality. I could have seen Apis playing with some animal, not kicking but.

"Why do they call you Apis?" I asked.

"I was hoping you would ask that," She grinned wickedly "do you want to spar?"

"Uh... Sure." We walked over to the weird looking basketball court. She lunged at me, knocking me to the floor. I started wheezing because she knocked the breath out of me.

"Oh I am sorry!" She said helping me up.

"Its fine, you'll get a fight," I smiled weakly. She backed up confused "come on, I'm sure I've got something useful."

"Uh I don't think that's wise." She looked at me like a wounded puppy. I didn't remember my powers, or even if I had any. All I knew was that I was destined for something great. I was about to just walk over and swing a punch but I decided to do something else.

"Ahama dex a tevu!" I yelled, I didn't know what that meant or why I even said it. I started to float and clouds with lightning started to crowed around me.
