Brooke's POV-
I was awaken by the burning sun on my eyelids. I was quite annoyed because of it. I pulled the covers over my head and felt the cool pleasure of the darkness on my eyelids. I was finally beginning to fall asleep again when I heard someone moving around in the living room, followed by someone rudely shaking me awake.
"What!" I yelled frustrated from the lack of sleep I have been having.
"Shh!" It was Skye. Now I was angry. First she wakes me up then she tells me to be quiet. Who understands people these days.
She pulled of my covers letting the light hit my eyes but the house wasn't completely lit up by the sun but my eyes were use to the darkness by now so it still hurt, there were a few shadows that made the house look kind of freaky. I took a look at Skye and she completely looked terrified and worried. Her brown eyes looking a little bigger than usual.
"Whats wrong?" I asked sitting up and rubbing my eyes with my hands making me see swirls after a while. When I finished I looked back at her after my eyes adjusted again and I saw her eyes darted to the regular couch. There I saw a sleeping Ashton.
"What about him?" I asked her, still half asleep.
"Don't you notice anything different?" she told me like I was stupid. I took another look and I kept my look but nothing clicked. Skye rolled her eyes like it was the most obvious thing ever.
"Just tell me I'm still like half asleep." I said as I stretched and rubbed my eyes again.
"Ava isn't there!" she whispered screamed while her eyes widened. I took a second look and she wasn't there.
What the heck is going on with her? I thought as an image of yesterday and last night appeared in my mind. I got up and started looking around the living room to see if she just maybe happened to be there but I looked and nothing. I looked back at Skye who looked at me like 'really? you think it's going to be that easy?' I gave her the 'Sorry, whatever!'
"Lets wake the others to see if they know where she went." Skye said and I nodded while waking everyone up. We woke everyone up one by one and asked if they have seen her but by the end no one knew, so we all went around the house to search for her.
Anne and Jose went to check our the kitchen, Ashton went to the small bedroom, Skye went to the big bedroom, Xavier checked outside front and back, and Spencer and me got stuck with the basement.
Why the basement.....Something always happens in the basement...... I thought while walking down the steps. When we got to the bottom I took a look around and made a face.
'It smells weird down here.'
"Yeah a bit" Spencer said like the smell was normal to him.
"Ava...are you in here?...No? ok lets go!" I said while pulling on Spencer's arm back up the stairs
"Hey you barely looked around!" He said smiling at how scared I was.
I don't care if he sees me scared....I hate the basement....Something always goes wrong in the basement.
"Come on lets just look for a little while longer." He said. I didn't agree but I didn't deny either so we continued looking. Old things interested me after a while that I forgot all about the smell. I was actually having fun, things like this interested me. I was completely into the boxes that I forgot about the whole reason why I was down in the basement. Then I heard the door open from up the stairs. I looked around to find Spencer but got no sign of him. The palms of my hands began to sweat.
