Sorry for any mistakes!

Xavier's POV-

Ok I know something weird is going on with Ava but that doesn't mean this place is haunted! Skye can't be right. Skye isn't right.   I thought as Ava looked at me and slowly moved her head back to the spot on the bed that had disappeared.

I turned around quickly and attempted to unlock the door again but it still wouldn't budge.  Everyone else tried to help but nothing.

"Move back" I instructed.  I saw Skye give me a confused look and I positioned mysef quickly in front of the door.  I kicked it down in one try.

"Lets go." I said and we all grabbed Ava by the arms and legs and carried her out.  We dragged her out but she didn't resist, all she did was look at us without blinking.  We went outside and lied her down her on the grass, she kept looking forward at nothing in particular, her mouth slightly parted.  Blanked faced.

"Now what?" Jose asked trying to sound calm but slightly failing.  We all looked at each other.

"Maybe we should go home now?"  Brooke suggested.

"No!" Skye and I said in sync.

"Then what are we going to do?" Anne said frusturated, obviously lack of sleep.  No one responded but just looked at one another.

"Not again..." I heard then a groan.  I looked down to see Ava sitting up rubbing her head.

"We are taking you home now" Anne declared.

"What why?" Ava asked in shock.  I saw Skye stand behind Ava so she wouldn't see her but so Anne could see her.  Skye gave Anne a 'Are you going to tell her?  How are you going to explain that to her?'  Anne sighed in defeat.

"No nothing. Never mind."  Ava looked at Anne upset.

"Why don't you guys tell me what's going on?" She asked a little hurt.  I saw Brooke, Skye, and Anne tense up a little.

"It's a little weird...and hard to explain." Skye said making Ava turn around to face her.

"So what?" Ava said.

"Lets go inside and explain instead...." I said looking around hoping none of the neighbors saw us.  As we entered the house I went to go check up on the cameras.  From behind me I heard the girls trying to explain to Ava about what was happening to her like a mom or dad would explain puberty to their confused son or daughter, and Ava was the confused child.  After 10 minutes of them getting no where I sighed loudly making it obvious I was getting annoyed which earned me a few dirty looks and a confused look from Ava.

"Why don't we just show her?" I asked in a an annoying tone of voice that surely got Skye angry.  I smirked at her and turned around to the cameras fast forwarding them while Ava made her way next to me while everyone else stood close behind.

Nothing.....nothing.....nothing....  I thought as I looked over the video.  Then something about yesterday came up and  I replayed it again and watched again.  It was Ava walking around to Skye and me the first night by the recliner.  Ava stood there.  I fast forward it and it went on for an hour and 15 minutes of her just standing there, nothing else.

"Why were you just standing there?"  Jose asked.

"I didn't even know I did that." Ava answered not looking away from the screen.

"We didn't either." I replied changing to a different camera.

"Alright lets continue." I showed her the rest of the footage that the rest of us have already experienced and Ava swore she didn't remember any of it.

"It's obviously something supernatural, so lets continue for the next 6 days we have left." Skye said hungry for more footage.  I saw Ava purse her lips together but eventually nodded hesitantly.

We all headed to the kitchen to finally get something to eat.  It was around 2pm by now. Latest 'breakfast' I've had.  Someone had brought eggs, poptarts, and some juice.  It worked out great surprisingly.  After breakfast I caught up to Skye and thought 'Hey why not annoy her?'  I walked behind her silently making sure she didn't know I was there.  She walked slowly that I was getting bored.  She was so oblivious that she was being followed.

"Stop following me Xavier"  Skye said not turning around.  I couldn't help but smile.  Her hair was recently brushed and she wore all black.

"Ay.  We're matching." She said pointing at the color of our clothing. I haven't noticed.  I smiled down at her as we stood by the stair case by the living room.  For a split second I forgot we were ever in an abandoned house, I was too focused on her.  Then I smirked when I realized something.

"Your blushing" I pointed out making her cheeks turn darker red.

"Shut up! No I'm not!" She said smacking my arm and putting her hands on her cheeks trying to hide her blush.

"Whatever you say, but hey I know you can't resist me"  I told her, winking.  She rolled her eyes but avoided mine.

"You get awkward easily. You know that?" I said brushing my hair with my hand probably making it messier.

"No I don't" she replied

"Mhm" I replied.

Nothing had happened the rest of that afternoon.  We played a few board games that Spencer found and we ended up talking the rest of the night about stupid things like 'what was your first kiss' or 'What type of music we like' or 'what we planned on doing for a career'  No freak accidents with Ava that day and we all seemed to relax more, which made me feel like I was right about this place not being haunted.

We made dinner and snacks that night and it felt like we had our own place.  It wasn't the nicest or prettiest to look at but hey it was something we could all enjoy.  That night I woke up to Skye's sigh.  I tightened my arm around her waist and looked around.  My eyes had adjusted to the dark so it felt like night vision.

Anne was sleeping soundlessly on Jose's chest while his hand was in her hair like he had been stroking it.  Anne had her arms around Jose's torso.  A little to the left I saw Brooke sleeping soundlessly hugging her pillow and then Spencer who seemed to look like a pretzel next to her but looked completely comfortable.  A little more to the left and I saw Ashton awake.

"Hey what are you doing?" I asked a little startled.  He put his index finger in front of his mouth indicating to be quiet then he pointed at Ava who was lying down, head on the arm of the couch.  She was tossing and turning and made a few sounds every now and again.

"Should I wake her?" Ashton asked completely unsure.  I shrugged which caused Skye to flutter her eyes open.

"What's going on" her voice came out a little raspy.  I looked at her and when she looked at me I looked over at Ava and she followed my gaze.  Ashton was hovering over Ava on top of the back of the couch trying to hear what Ava was saying.   Suddenly, with know warning Ava sat up abruptly causing her head to hit Ashton's.  Skye broke out into a giggle fit and I couldn't help but laugh a little too.  Skye's laugh was contagious.

After we finished laughing I was surprised that we didn't wake anyone up.  I looked back to see Ashton and Ava still rubbing their heads and I held back another laugh.

"Ava you ok?" I heard Skye ask with a hint of a giggle trying to escape her mouth.

"Yeah...you kept tossing and turning.  Having a nightmare?" Ashton asked.  Ava only nodded bringing her knees closer to her chest while looking down the hallway expecting something to be there.  I couldn't help a shiver run down my back.  Ashton put his hand on her back in hope to calm her down.  It helped a little but she shook her head trying to forget the dream and placing her head on him and eventually falling asleep on Ashton as he fell asleep half sitting half lying down.  His hand around her scratched up wrist, almost protecting it.

I wonder what her nightmare was about.  I looked at Skye who looked back at me practically knowing what the other was thinking.

"I'll ask her tomorrow" Skye informed me and I nodded letting her head drop on my shoulder as I heard her breathing ease steadily, eventually making me fall asleep wondering about Ava's nightmare.
