"EVIE!!!" I squealed, knowing just how much it annoyed her.
She looked up from her sketchbook and sure enough I was met with a glare.
"What?" She asked, clearly unamused.
I giggled, knowing my next words were not gonna make her happy.
"So you know that Jack guy I've been hanging out with? The telepath?" Evie only glared harder. "Well I've asked him on a date and he said only if you will come with his friend Samuel. So obviously I said yes!"
I grinned waiting for her answer.
"Not again. Anika, I cannot handle going on double dates! Don't you remember what happened last time?"
I scrunched my nose trying to remember.
Oh, yeah.
"Don't worry, it's at the it's just burgers." I said, giving her a smile.
"Ugh, fine. But you owe me."
I squealed in delight, maybe this time he would be the one!
