Harry's POV:
I felt better now.. I guess.. I mean, I should! I did what Louis told me and gave her exactly what she gave me, but now I feel weird; like my body is missing something.. I'm a guy! I don't know what I'm feeling!
I stopped and took in my surroundings. I was at some random park about 4 miles from the flat. I decided to take a walk almost an hour ago and ended up here. It was nice out; not too chilly, not too warm. I sat down on a bench by an elderly man, whom I didn't know.
"Penny for you thoughts, lad," the man said to me.
"Oh.. I don't know really.. It's all so confusing," I responded.
"Is it a girl?"
I sighed. "Yeah."
"She's something special," he stated matter of factly.
"I'm sorry?"
"This girl must be something special. Men never really go deep into thought, and son, you've been walking around in a big circle for nearly ten minutes," he said pointing to a sidewalk that went around in a loop that I had obviously been walking for ten minutes.
I chuckled.
"Let's just say I'm an idiot," I said to the guy.
"You listened to a friend, didn't you?"
I nodded.
"You've got to listen to your heart, pal; not your mind, not anyone else's mind, just your heart. If your heart tells you that you love that girl, then go get her. Don't listen to that old saying about 'if you love something, let it go. If it comes back, it was yours all along.' I let go of the love of my life 40 years ago. She was out with her new lover and was killed in a crazy accident. I never knew if she would've come back to me... I never knew. Go get that girl."
I looked off at the kids playing on the swings, but I wasn't paying any attention to them. My mind was reeling and adrenaline and determination were pumping through me. I needed Kaylieh, and I was going to get her.
"I'm sorry, sir. I never got your na-"
But when I turned to the man, he was gone. He was nowhere to be found. He had vanished.
I've heard stories about when you're going through troubling times, you'll encounter an angel. An angel to make you feel better. One that you may or may never see again. Something in my gut told me that this man was an angel telling me to follow my heart in general. This wasn't just about Kaylieh. This was about my life and following my heart.
It may sound girly, but I'm going to listen to that angel and follow my heart.
Austin's POV:
"That was an amazing show! Great job tonight," I say and pull Kaylieh into a hug.
We stayed that way for just a second passed awkward and both let go of each other.
She blushed.
Wait. She blushed! Maybe she likes me too!
Yeah, it's true. I definitely like Kaylieh, but she only sees me as a friend. I'd rather have her as a friend than an awkward acquaintance.
"Yeah! You too!" she said.
I noticed she had already changed into some black sweatpants with PINK written in pink sparkles on the side and a pink hoodie.
I ran back to my dressing room. I threw on some nike gym shorts and a white t shirt and met Kaylieh by the back door to go out to the bus. Once I reached her, I grabbed her hand in mine.
"Ready?" I asked her.
She smiled and nodded.
Right before we walked out the door, I stopped and spun her around in front of me.
"Do you believe in friends becoming more than just friends?" I asked curiously.
She let a small smile play across her lips. Her eyes caught mine.
"What?"
"Do you believe in friends becoming more than just friends?" I asked again more slowly.
She slowly brought her lips to mine. We kissed slowly, not really moving, just enjoying the moment.
After maybe five seconds, she pulled away. I agreed and pulled away as well.
She gave me a cute smile, "Yeah, I do."
Then, we continued out to the bus.
"So, what do you want to do? I'm bored," I state as we walk into the sitting room of the bus.
"Let's play.. GO FISH!" she yelled running into the back room.
"'Kayy, gurl!" I yelled back in a girl voice.
She ran in and sat on one side of the booth. She placed the cards on the table as I sat on the other side of the booth.
"Do you have a 3?" I asked getting tired.
"Nahh," Kaylieh replied obviously tired too.
"Yes, you do! I saw it a second ago!" I accused raising my voice.
"Austin Amanda Mahone! Have you been cheating?!"
I laughed. "Amanda?"
"Yes!" she said standing up and walking to my seat. "Answer the question!"
"NO!" I screamed.
She held up two fingers on each hand.
I tried my hardest to hold back a smile.
"No. What are you-"
"ANSWER. THE. QUESTION," she demanded.
"What are you gonna do about i-"
Before I could finish my sentence, Kaylieh started jabbing my stomach with her fingers.
I managed to wiggle out of my seat and take control. I threw her down on the couch and started jabbing her stomach.
Let me tell you, getting jabbed hurts and tickles all at the same time. (But mostly hurts)
"Surrender?!" I asked/yelled.
"Never!" she yelled, and in the blink of an eye, she threw me down on the floor.
I laid on my back on the ground in complete shock.
She bounced off the couch and straddled my torso.
"Surrender!" she screamed mocking me and holding up two fingers.
I shoved my hands out and started tickling her.
She squealed and let her body fall onto mine. She kept squealing and tried to get away.
"Stop! Please! Stop, Austin! STOP!!"
"Say I'm awesome!"
"I'm awesome," she smirked.
I tickled her some more.
"Ok! OK! You're awesome!"
"Say 'Austin, you are so amazing, and I love you to the moon and back! I am a total Mahomie!'" I demanded.
"Austin! You are.. amazing!. A-And I love y-you.. to the moon and.. back! IAMATOTALMAHOMIE!" she choked out over her giggles.
I stopped tickling her, and she laid on my chest.
After a minute of getting our breathing back to normal, she sat up.
I looked into her eyes and smiled.
She smiled back but jumped off of me real quick.
"I'm going to bed. Night," she called as she hurried back into the room and closed the door.
Well, that was weird.
Kaylieh's POV:
"I know you've never loved the sound of your voice on tape.
You never want to know how much you weigh.
You still have to squeeze into your jeans, but you're perfect to me."
Harry's voice rang through my ears. It seemed like his words were speaking to me, and, oh, how I longed for them to speak to me, but now I know they aren't.
"You'll never love yourself half as much as I love you,
And you'll never treat yourself right darling, but I want you to.
If I let you know I'm hear for you,
Then maybe you'll love yourself like I love you, oh."
Then there was Niall, my best friend. Well, ex best friend. He was probably mad at me as well. Listening to his voice, though, made me realize how much I miss him. They sent shivers down my spine. They made me feel something; something I couldn't put my finger on. It drove me insane, but I loved the feeling. However, I know Niall's words aren't speaking to me either.
Now I think Austin has feelings for me. I think I have feelings for him too, but in another sense I feel like I'm forcing these small feelings towards him to enlarge, like I know Harry and Niall don't want me, but Austin does.
I hate to lead him on, because I know I will end up turning him down. Well, hopefully I will. Hopefully Harry will change his mind. Hopefully.
But now, all I have now is Austin.. And McKinley.. And Tori!
I haven't spoken to her in a while now. Might as well ring her.
..
..
..
"What?" her voice harshly questioned.
What peed in her cornflakes?
"Hey, Tori! How have you been?!"
"Fine."
"Are you mad at me?" I asked honestly not knowing why she should be mad at me.
"No, I'm perfectly fine considering my best friend practically dropped off the face of the earth!" she shouted.
"Wha-"
"Don't play dumb. You haven't called me in months. You didn't even have the decency to text me and see how I've been! Do you think I'm very happy with you?"
"No," I answered quietly.
"Well, if that's all, I'm hanging up now," she said after a few moments of silence.
"No! Wait! Tori, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry! I was being so selfish. I cut myself out of everyone's lives for God knows what reason and tried to just start back over in Atlanta. I know I'm an idiot, you don't have to say it, but please! You, McKinley, and Austin are all I have now! Please don't give up on me! I swear, I will do anything to regain your trust! I get you to meet Austin, I will fly you out to a concert, I will call you every hour, I will FaceTime you every night, I will give you a shoutout on Twitter,-"
She started laughing. "Shut up! I forgive you!"
"I will-.. Really?!" I squealed.
"Yes! Now what's been happening with Miss Movie Star?"
(A/N: Okay so I've been talking to that guy I saw at the fair like everyday, but I don't like him as much as I like the guy at my school, but I don't think the guy at my school likes me as much as he likes this really annoying chick in two of our classes. Poo.:( but I went to church today and I love the song Here's My Heart by Passion but the worship band at my church sang it better than Passion. Like it was amazing! Well my mom and stepdad are working on remodeling his house for my sister, mom, stepdad, and I to move into around New Years and I'm planning my room and I think it's gonna be modern vintage!
