Chapter Eight

After the loud scream that came from the mountain, all the Grounders looked scared or worried. Some of them even mumured diferent names. Clarke didn't know why. But commander Lexa, called the screaming thing Wanheda.
Clarke walked over to Lexa.
"What was that?" She asked.
"Someone you don't want to face" Lexa answered, "We call her the commander of Death. She predict Death and her power is stronger inside the mountain. Wanheda is probably helping the enemy"
"Then we need someone on the inside that can kill Wanheda" Clarke said, "We have to eliminate every threat if we're going inside that mountain"
"Who will be you inside man, Clarke?" Lexa asked.
"Bellamy" Clarke answered.

Akela walked down to Dante's office after she had screamed.
"Can you please tell me what's going on?" Akela asked Dante.
Dante nodded.
"For centuries, the Mountain men have only seen one other who were like you. The first commander." Dante started.
"Rebekkah Pramheda" Akela said.
"Yes." Said Dante, "She was something called a Banshee"
"What is a Banshee?" Akela asked.
"The wailing woman, who screams when someone is about to die. You're the messenger of Death, Akela. Your early ancistors belived that a Banshee could choose who lived and who died. But you don't predict danger, Akela. You predict death." Said Dante.
Akela didn't say anything, so Dante continued.
"After the nuclear war, an oracle looked into the future. She said that a Banshee would come and save them. Everyone thought it was the first commander, but it wasn't. She wasn't strong enough to face the beast of Gevadaun. She died trying to kill it. But what I've heard, you are the only one who dared to face it. Which means that you maybe even can kill it." Dante said, "According to the oracle, the beast of Gevadaun had to be killed. Because if nobody kills it, we are all doomed. It's you destiny Akela"
"You said There was a prophecy." Said Akela.
"Yes." Said Dante, "Stardust in your eyes, Moon in your heart. You're a child of cosmos, a ruler of worlds."
"That's the prophecy?" Asked Akela.
Dante nodded.
"The outsiders also belived the Banshee could use her voice as a weapon" said Dante, "This is what I know about Banshees, Akela. But I want to show you something else too"
Dante walked over to his desk and opened a box. He took up a file with a strange name:

WALLACE, MARIE - JEANNE

"Who is this?" Akela asked, "My evil twin?"
Dante shooked his head.
"That's you" he answered.
