Chapter 38 (In His Eyes)

Taeyeon is too stubborn to go out, I admit it, me too. So we just hang out in SHINee's dorm. The atmosphere is completely nice in here....if Jonghyun and Minho are there. They are the atmosphere makers of our dorm.

We both sat down on the couch. She fidgeted with her fingers, maybe she doesn't feel comfortable. "Yeon...are you okay?" I asked and she smiled. Her eyes were glistening.

"I am fine, Onew. There's nothing to worry about. I just wanna tell you something, though." Taeyeon said and took a deep breath. "Thank you...for everything." She said.

"For what? Did I give you something?" I asked and she shook her head.

"For loving me." I answered shyly and he smiled at me. "I always thought I will always be alone, that is, until I found the girls and you." I said and he kissed me in the cheek.

"It's okay." Onew said and played with the strands of my hair. "I don't even know what I can do to thank you for everything, though." I said and he smiled.

"You. Here, next to me. That's all what I am asking for. You loving me as I love you, that's what I am asking for, but you're doing it anyway." Onew said. I can't help but feel fluttered.

This is why I've always loved Lee Jinki. We both smiled at each other and shared a passionate kiss. After 2 minutes, I pulled away and got up from the couch. He looked at me in confusion.

"I'm hungry. I bet you are too." I said and he laughed. He got up and we both walked to the kitchen, hand-in-hand. We opened the fridge and got as many chips as we can.

After that, we both got back to the living room and sat down on the couch. We talked and talked while eating chips.

"We need to sleep." I said and he nodded. He laid down on the couch and closed his eyes. I'll just go sleep on the floor. I laid down on the floor and closed my eyes.

--After 5 minutes--

"Yeon, why are you sleeping on the floor?" Onew suddenly asked. I opened my eyes and just shook my head. "I am fine, don't worry." I said but he shook his head.

He got up from the couch. I stood up and he carried me, bridal style. "Onew....what are you—" I was cut off when he walked to the hallway. There were 5 rooms.

He walked a bit further and opened the door to the last room. He walked near the bed and put me on the bed gently. "Let's sleep." He said with a smile.

I crawled to the other side and covered myself with the blanket. Suddenly, Onew wrapped his arms around my waist and he whispered, "Sleep well." I giggled and closed my eyes.
