Our once shared spot is now mine alone as I try to look beyond the sky which still displays your colour even after all this while.
The ivy's now growing over our stone - where we carved our initials - yet not a single vine covers your mark and I struggle to understand why.
I am still searching for that sea only visible when you were around trying to capture the waves and ripples surging and expanding through my every abyss.
Those days were not about the way they rolled or the time we spent in each other's' arms - no - those reasons alone would not make me feel this way.
For you were never the One. Yet you bathed me with memories trapping me in this house of mirrors where I see a thousand reflections of you and not one of me anymore.
