-~The Abandoned House~-

-~Her POV~-

-About an hour later-

She was exhausted. Earlier she found a spider bake sale and bought everything she could afford. At this point, her inventory as full with spider donuts. She only had one, surprisingly it was delicious.

Trudging her tired feet forward, she checked the time.

11pm January 8th.

She looked ahead and saw a cute purple house. The garden in the front was overflowing in yellow flowers that she had landed on the previous day.

There was an old tree in the middle of the pathway. It was surrounded in yellow leaves. Yellow droplets fell from the tree. Looking like gems sparkling in the moonlight.

It was very quiet.

Almost too quiet.

She turned to look onto a leaf pile. Inside was a star. She quickly saved.

The house was quite small, but very cozy. Dust covered the surfaces long being neglected. There was a single chair next to the unused fireplace. Many cobwebs littered the corners. Most of them advertising the bake sale in small print.

She walked into the kitchen. There were no supplies for her in there. Just two slips of paper. One for Butterscotch-Cinnamon Pie, the other containing uses for Snails?

She walked past the stair leading to who knows where, into a yellow hallway. Strangely enough only furniture was left behind. She entered a red room. The bed was unmade, and papers were scattered everywhere. She looked at a pile of dust.

It wasn't like the dust she found on the other surfaces. It was like the dust she found on her tutu.

Odd. But, she let it slide.

She moved into the next room, which was a sky blue. There was nothing in there except a bed, a table, and a notebook.

~Toriel, Keeper of the Ruins~

Hmm, mom always told me to stay out of people's personal belongings, but this could help me.

She opened the notebook to a random page.

Monster Dust.

When Monsters die, their souls are not strong enough to keep within their bodies. So their bodies burst into dust, ashes, etc. Monsters don't die of natural causes. They only die from physical attacks.

Her breath hitched. Whatever was in that last room.

M u s t  b e  t h e  r e m a i n s  o f  T o r i e l.

She knew she needed to get out of this place. Whatever killed Toriel, could be out to get her as well. It's the war all over again. But she'll keep fighting.

The only place she knew of escape was downstairs. She was determined she could kill this intruder to avenge Toriel.

She went down the long purple hallway. Up ahead she saw a large door. It was a lot cooler in this area as well.

As she approaches the door she notices a small skeleton beside it.

This must be the killer.

She sighed. All that hype for nothing.. Walking past the body she pushed the door. Nothing.

Looking at the skeleton, she noticed it was wearing a heart shaped locket. She grabbed it and put it over her neck.

Checking the door she saw that there was a heart shaped pad. She used her locket and heard a click.

Creaking she pushed the door open. Once she went outside the door slammed with a large BANG. It was so cold. Snow covered her ballet shoes. Shivering she continued forward.

A star appeared in front of her. She quickly grabbed it and saved.

Filling her with determination.

She continued forward. Not letting the cold stop her. Truding through the quick rising snow, she heard a branch snap behind her.

Scared for her life she turned to look at the source. Only a broken branch. The snowstorm was slowly getting stronger. But, she had to keep going. To find a shelter for the night.

It kept getting stronger and stronger. Ahead she saw some sort of weird bridge. Stopping at the bridge she noticed some warm blue glow coming from behind her.

*H u m a n

*D o n' t  y o u  k n o w  h o w  t o  g r e e t  a  n e w  p a l ?

*T u r n  a r o u n d  a n d  b o w.

She slowly turned around to see a skeleton a few inches taller than her. His right eye socket had a glowing blue pupil which emitted a blue mist.

She couldn't feel anything. Her whole body is going numb. She bowed at him, but as she was turning back around to walk away she tripped and fell. Exhaustion knocking her out cold. (See what I did there xD)

  -~Sans POV~-

I have no idea who she was. I watched as she fell, but I quickly teleported catching her before she could hit the ground.

I guess she is falling for me. I chucked to myself.

She was wearing a tutu, which was very similar to Chara's.

I wonder where she got it.. Chara has been dead for a very long time.

She was absolutely freezing, so I wrapped my hoodie around her and used a bit of my magic to warm her up.

She doesn't have much time. So I teleported us to my house. I carried her too my room and tucked her into my bed. Papyrus should be back here soon from Undyne's cooking lessons.

She moaned in pain but went back to sleep. I checked her temperature and she seemed to be warming up.

She's pretty cute. I wonder what her name is.

But, I quickly shaked off that thought.

I guess I'm taking the couch tonight.

"Sleep well, kiddo."
