Rose's POV

Julius woke me up early this morning, saying he had to show me something. I trudged behind him, rubbing my eyes softly.

"Wake up Roza, you're going to want to see this." He barely even turned his head as he spoke, but I was more worried about not tripping over my own feet to pay attention to what he was doing.

"When this is done, may I go back to your bed and sleep?" I asked, hopefully.

"No, you may not. You will not be sleeping in my bed anymore." He said, making me jerk to a halt.

"What?" He turned around, his boots squealing as he did so.

"Because you now have your own." He said softly before turning back to the large door in front of him and he turned the golden handle. Inside was a large room, with high ceilings. There was a spiral staircase that led to an unknown room, next to a window wall. There was large curtains that could cover them but at the moment I would keep them open, the bright grass outside was wet with rain and the forest beyond was dark and eerie looking. The bed, oh the bed, it was a large king sized bed, with light green sheets and matching pillows. The duvet on top of the sheets matched, with white flowers sewn on the fabric. There was a brown soft-looking blanket folded at the end of the bed that matched a few of the throw pillows. There was a built in bookcase on the wall opposite of the bed and I swooned at all the the books, English and European. There was two doors that led to a bathroom and closet on the other side of the room. There was so much space! I could probably do cartwheels in this room! I heard a small yip and looked down in time to find May running at me.

"May!" I kneeled down and kissed her nose.

"Do you like it?" Julius asked and I spun around, colliding with his chest. He backed up and stared at me in question.

"Like it? I love it!" I ran towards the bed and lunged. I landed on the cloud-like material with a small omf, but sighed when my body sunk into the large bed. I snuggled into the bed and heard Julius laugh from behind me. I wiggled around until I was under the heavy duvet, I curled into a ball and then flipped onto my back, spreading out. I barely filled the bed, and it was amazing. I loved this!

"I guess I'm going to let you get settled, I will come and get you for dinner." I heard the door open and then close once more. I snuggled into the bed and found myself falling asleep once again.

Julius' POV

I sat in my office, my feet sitting on top of my desk. I listened to the small patter of feet as they ran across the halls.

"Daddy!" I watched as my door flew open and there my young daughter stood, her long hair in tight bows. I sat up straighter waiting for her to come flying at me like she usually does. She jumped up into my arms and cuddled into my neck. I looked up to see Tara standing in the doorway, a small smirk on her face.

"Looks like she takes after you, she doesn't listen to me at all." My little girl popped her head up and stared at me, she had just turned two years old a few days ago. Her eyes were a beautiful violet, just like Tara. She had gorgeous brown hair, just like me. All of a sudden, she was gone, and so was Tara. I stood outside in the middle of the dark forest. On the ground, lay my baby, mauled and bloody. Above her was Tara.

"I told you I would do anything for your love, but you didn't believe me. Too bad for the kid though." She was so calm, she just killed our daughter.

"You killed my baby! Our baby!" I sobbed, picking her body up off the ground. I pressed my face into her neck, just like she did every time she hugged me. I picked my face up and I looked at the woman I was going to marry. Key word, was.

"Our engagement is off, I'm calling the fucking police." I sobbed into my baby's shirt. I kept brushing her hair away from her face, whispering she will be okay.

"How the fuck could you!?! She was our baby! She was our daughter! She was a baby!"

"We will still get married! You have no right to say no to me!"

"I just fucking did!" I watched her face twist in horror, before a smirk graces her plump lips.

"Then I guess you will have to learn your lesson, won't you?"

I woke up with a start, sweat glistened on my skin as I panted. I pressed my hand to my forehead and got out of my bed. I walked to my closet and pulled out her suitcase. I opened it and was met by memories of my baby. I pulled out her blanket, it still smelled like her. Inside was her first pair of booties, her first lock of hair that was cut, and other small things that were hers. I pulled out the necklace I was going to give her when she was five years old. It was a locket that said her name on the heart. Inside was a small picture of her and I the day she was born. Engraved inside was the words, "Daddy's babygirl." I sat crying in my closet, sobbing into my fist, that held her locket. I didn't hear the soft patter of footsteps until it was too late.

"Julius?" I heard Rose's soft voice ask. I didn't even look up, just kept sobbing.

"I miss her so goddamn much." I wailed. I felt her arms go around my shoulders and I turned around, wrapping my arms around her waist. I buried my face into her tummy, crying louder. She lowered herself and I buried my face into her neck. I heard a small gasp, and it caused me to look at her.

"You have a daughter?" She asked and I shook my head, my lip quivering uncontrollably.

"Had, I-I lied. S-she didn't c-curse m-me because I refused to m-marry her, due to money. I-I refused because she...S-she k-killed our..." My voice cracked and I began to sob again. I heard a choked sob and watched as she began to cry.

"Did she..Really?" I nodded and she let out a startled cry. "Oh my god." She wrapped her arms around me once more and held me tightly. That's how we spent the next three hours, holding each other tightly, crying and talking about my baby, then crying again. When we pulled away she wiped her tears and stared down at the locket that I clutched in my hand. She gently took it and went around me. I felt the cold metal touch my warm skin as she latched it around my neck.

"If It helps any, I'm so sorry and if I could, I would bring her back for you." She whispered into my ear. I nodded and pulled on her hand. She sat in front of me and I hugged her close again.

"Thank you, mio gentile ragazza." My kind girl, my cold, dark heart whispered softly.

"What?" She asked me, pulling away.

"Nothing." I said softly.

Ha ha! Third update! It's a bit of a longer chapter, kinda? It sure is an emotional one! Any who, that's all for now. I'm thinking of doing a meet the character type of thing next chapter, what do ya think?
