Chapter 45. Remember When?

Preston's POV

I laid near Rob, he was watching TV. "Hey Rob, remeber the first time we met?" I asked. He smiled "Of course I do. It's never left my mind." He said. "Remeber our first kiss?" I asked. "I remember everything between us Preston. Even the times I've made you cry, laugh, and become frustrated." He said. I smiled, "Preston. Do you remember the time Mat killed himself?" He asked. I nodded "That was the time I needed you most, and you were there. Without you there I wouldn't be here today." He said. I nodded my heart fluttered. "Really?" I asked. He nodded, "I love you." I said. He smiled and kissed my temple. We both continues watching TV.

~Hours later~

Rob's POV

Remember when I never wanted to let go? I thought looking at Preston fast asleep next to me. Remember when we first said I love you? Yeah, it was the happiest moment of my life. I thought as he shuffled in his sleep and turned to his other side so his back was facing to me. Remember the times I helped you reach the snacks on the highest shelf? Yeah, your like my own little leprechaun...I thought smiling. I couldn't help but think of all the moments we shared, and there's still more to come. Just thinking of what will happen in the future made me excited. The future can hold a lot of secrets, and you just have to find the key to them. And Preston is my key to the future. I love him so much, he doesn't know it but. I love him to the point where I couldn't see myself with anyone else. Remember the time I proposed to the man I loved? Not the girl, the man I wanted to spend my entire life with? Yeah so do I, it will never leave my heart.
