Chapter 3

" Jigeum ? ", I asked .

" Yeah , sing a song for us but I want a challenging one . "

The stares started again as if they were trying to consume my insides . This is totally nerve-wrecking . I can see from thosr cold stares that they are somewhat underestimating me . You can feel the atmosphere of a tight competition surrounding these trainees . Since Woohyun Sunbaenim granted me the opportunity to prove myself . I sang sunbae's group song .

그녀를 지겨라 닐 잊이 못하게
내 님이 계신 곳 끝까지 가련다

It was a very high-pitched song which is already a challenge and I sang it in front of Woohyun Sunbaenim .

I can hear whispers from everywhere . Then I realized , I shouldn't have sang it . It is like stating a declaration of war against sunbaes .

" I'm sorry for using your song . It's just that ... that is the only song that crossed my mind .... and ... I - uh ... "

I am so ashamed of what I just did .

" You're great . I like you . "

" Ye ? ", I didn't see that one coming .

" You sang our song in a polished and elegant way . You're really amazing . "

" Kamsahabnida , Woohyun sunbaenim . "

I bowed at exactly 90 degrees .

" I told you to call me Namu oppa . Or oppa is fine already . Come on, say it . ", he persuasively said .

Now ? In front of all these people ?

" O-op-oppa . ", I said in a stuttering manner .

" That's it . From now on , you should call me in that manner, okay ? ", he looks satisfied .

" Ne, oppa . ", he replied with a sweet smile .

It is still unbelievable that I am talking to Woohyun , was praised by Woohyun and was given the chance to meet Woohyun .

" You're singing skills are undoubtedly amazing and unquestionably good . But, can you dance ? ", Woohyun oppa suddenly asked me .

" I can . I joined a dance group when I was in high school so I am quite confident with my dancing skills . " , I replied .

WOOHYUN POV

When I hear her sing our song . Her voice is music in my ears . Just her skills alone is making my heart skip a beat and made me had my goosebumps . She really is a talented girl and I think I find myself having the want of being attached to this girl or some sort . I thought that I am just fanboying to this girl but the feeling is very different .

But her dancing skills are the ones that pricked my curiosity . I asked her about her dancing skills and I discovered that she was a former dancer .

" Can you dance a little ? "

" Ah, ne . "

She started dancing while singing, what amazed me was those familiar dance moves . It was from our song , Bad . Even her co-trainees were amazed by how polished her dance moves were .

" Good Job . You're amazing . ", I gave her a round of applause for the amazing performance .

My phone suddenly vibrated in the pocket of my jeans . It was Sunggyu hyung .

" Excuse for a while . "

" Oh . Hyung, why ? "

" ARE YOU CRAZY ? WE HAVE A PHOTOSHOOT AT 10:00 . GET READY
WE'RE LEAVING . NOW ! " , Sunggyu hyung shouted in an angry tone then dropped the phone call .

I looked at ( your name ) and I can feel the sadness and disappointment consuming me whole . I wanna stay longer with her but I am also a busy man and she should train more .

" I need to go . We had a photoshoot at 10 . Sunggyu hyung called me . "

" Please go now . You'll be late sunbaenim .", she replied with a worried and troubled tone .

" Sunbaenim ? ", I gave her a smug face .

" Op-Oppa . "

" I'll leave now . Take care and practice more . I'll see you later ."

I waved her goodbye and I left the room .

What a cliffhanging day .
