Chapter 9

YONGSEON POV

I am so nervous . After the performance of the SNSD sunbaes I will now perform for my song . I can see the Infinite sunbaes are on the side near the fans . My heart is madly racing right now as if I am going to collapse in the stage . After a long time , I am going to perform . My dream has came true . And now is the moment that I will show everyone what I can do .

The SNSD sunbaes finished their performance and I went up to the stage . Even if we did stage rehearsals before , the actual performance is still different . I am now seeing my fans who went through all the hard time to come here and support me . I am a rookie solo singer and it is still unbelievable to have these many fans who are supporting me . I am so grateful for the sunbaes who worked so hard to promote me even before I just debuted .

But of course , I had my haters because of the music video . Many fans of Infinite became my haters cause yeah , I kissed Woohyun oppa there . But still I am lucky for having the fans .

" FIGHTING ! " , I heard the Infinite sunbaes cheering for me .

I gave them a nod and went straight to my position . When the music started , I started dancing and singing . I suddenly forgot all the nervousness that I felt before and I am just enjoying the moment that I am in right now . I sang my song with all passion . I trained hard for a long time for this performance and so I finished my performance outstandingly gathering the applause of the fans .

I went backstage for a while since after my performance it would be the awarding immediately . The Infinite sunbaes went to me and congratulated me for a great performance . Dongwoo sunbaenim handed me a bottle of water while Woohyun oppa wiped my sweat .

" You did great . " , Sunggyu sunbaenim and the others said .

Minutes later , we were called onstage for the awarding and the sunbaes just said fighting . Since this was my first stage , I have no confidence of winning of course . Specially if it is against the professional idols like SNSD and Sistar sunbae .

" And now for the first place , from the votes gathered by the MCountdown . Here are the results . Boyeojuseyo .. "

I am just standing in the side cause I am just a rookie . It would be disrespectful for me to go near the sunbaes .

" Jeong Yeong Seon . Chukahabnida ! "

The MBLAQ sunbaenim gestured to me to go in front and I looked everywhere out of confusion . Huh ? Even the SNSD sunbaenims are telling me to go in front .

I looked at the MC and told me to get my trophy .

" Chukhahabnida Jeong Yeong Seon-ssi . "

They gave me the trophy and I was still so clueless . Why are they giving me this trophy ?

" You are the winner ! ", I heard someone shout from the crowd and I saw Woohyun oppa .

The other sunbaes and the MCs gave me a mic and they left the stage leaving me alone and the trophy .

" Say something . " , Sunggyu sunbaenim said . Even though I didn't hear him . I can guess what he is saying .

That only that I realized what really is happening and I bursted in tears .

" I am not actually expecting to get this award . I am just a rookie and against sunbaenims . I am truly thankful for the Infinite sunbaenims for their support especially Woohyun oppa . To the directors, manager eonni , staffs , thank you so much . And also thank you for the fans who supported me . Even though I am only just a rookie , thank you for all the support . I will continue on doing my best to perform for all of you . "

I said my speech while sobbing . And the Infinite sunbaes went to the stage and hugged me . Woohyun oppa kissed my forehead again and hugged me tightly . He whispered in my ear " Good Job . Congratulations . " and I just cant help myself but cry in his shirt . I am making it wet .

He patted my back and lead me to my waiting room . Everyone there is congratulating and so I thanked them .

I went to get my clothes to get changed and I gave my trophy to manager eonni so she will handle it for me .

I changed to my clothes and get myself fixed and Woohyun oppa went inside .

" Let's go ? "

" The sunbaenims ? Where are they ? "

" They already left and went home . So , let's go ? I'll treat you bigtime since you also won this time . "

" Where are you two going ? ", my manager asked .

" Eonni . I have no scheduoe after this , right ? "

" Yeah , you should go home and rest now . You have a long day tomorrow . "

I can see Woohyun oppa secretly getting my things .

" I will take her to a date . So if you may excuse us . "

Woohyun oppa suddenly grabbed my hand and we left the room . We were running out of the building like crazy . Woohyun oppa let me in a fancy car and he went to the drivers seat .

" Now , its date time .", Woohyun oppa said and winked at me .
