Duck Pond (part 2)

Max's POV

"Ross! Over here! No left! Your other left! Noooooooo! Roooooooooooossssssssssssss! You're staring directly at me!" I say. "I know." He says. "ROSS! We're going to lose because of you! Tag him!" Adam says. "Nah, I'm good." He says.

"OH NO, THERE'S JESS! BOOK IT! BOOK IT!" Ross yelled. I run out of there. "OH, MAN I SEE ROSS! MAX WHERE ARE YOU!?" Jess says in her playful voice. "I'm not there I booked it, thanks to Ross." I said.

I was really just on the other side of the wall. Times up.

"ROSS! Why didn't you freeking tag him?!" Red asked. "Oh, I actually had a glitched game. I couldn't move my body but I could move my head. I tryed to. If I could, I would. He owes me." Ross says. We finished up the recording.

The Fandom loves me and Ross together. I mean, who doesn't. Jess loved it. Jess would not stop talking about me and Ross together.

I owe Ross. That's no lie. Because of the idiot, Red. He got over his "crush" on me, and Barney doesn't know. He should.

"Okay, Ross, I'm ready, are you?" I ask. He nods. We get in the car. "W-where are we going?" He says, rubbing his neck. "You'll see." I say, smiling. "Last time someone told me that, I almost died." He says, turning up his nose. "Pft." I almost burst. He is soooo cute when he's mad.

Ross' POV

Nice. I can't wait. Max is such a jurk. He almost laughed. I crossed my arms.

"Let's not talk about this... after it happens, okay?" He asked. I widened my eyes. "Why?" I say, scooting up in my seat. "Just... don't. It's... not something that is important..." He says. "If it's not important, why do you want to keep it secret?" I ask. He grips the steering wheel tighter.

What is he going to do? He never answered me. We turn down twisting roads that never seem to end. Then he pulls the car over.

He groans and puts his head back. I look and see that the car is almost empty. "What?" I ask him. "I'm afraid that we're lost." He says. I start to panic. "I knew it! You don't even know where you were going, do you?" I ask. He looks at me all mad. "Excuse me! It's not my fault-" He inhaled. "I'm sorry." He says. I just look out the window.

He gets out of the car. "Where are you going?" I ask. "Stay here." He goes to the back of the car, opened the trunk, and grabbed something. Then, closing the trunk, he grabbed the keys. "Do not leave. I will be right back." He says, closing the door and locking it. He started walking up the road, and I watched him until I couldn't see him anymore. I looked around the front seat. Max left his phone. Great. Now, if anything happens, I can't call him.

I look in the glove compartment. Papers, papers, papers... Flashlight... pens... Pencils... notepad.............. I fell asleep.

Max's POV

I've been walking for an hour. I was about to call Ross but I left my phone. Great. Now if something happens he can't call me.

My legs feel like they're about to give out. There!!! A gas station! I run to it. But I trip. I scraped my knee but I keep going. I knock on the bathroom door. "Just a second!" A sweet voice says. It's a girl. I wonder why she's in the... oh, wait it's a unisex bathroom.

Then a girl I'd hoped not to see came out... Rosalina. "Oh, Hi Max!" She says all happy. "Rosalina." I say. She looked me up and down. "Are you okay?" She smiled. "It's okay, I just scraped it." I say, walking past her and turning on the water.

"Lemme' see that." She grabbed the paper towels and threw them in the trash and grabbed some new ones. She gently wiped my knee and bandaged it up. She didn't say anything.

"Um... how are you?" I ask. "Better since you banned me." I almost laughed. Again. "How are you?" She asked, walking with me to the pump. "I've... been alot better." I fill up the thing.

"Deedeedumm loooooookkkkkkkkiiiiieeeeee!" She smiles, pointing to something. Adam. "Well, hiya Max! Rosalina!" He says. "Whatr you doin here?" I ask. "Well ya' know, taking Ty to the forest. To uhrk... Hey, what are you doing here?" He changes the subject.

"I have some business to take care of." I say. "What kinda business?" Rosalina asks. "Hey, nobody asked you what you were doing here." Adam pushes. "Waiting for someone to take me away on a unicorn." She says. "Ain't we all." I say, finishing up. "Okay, see you later, Max." Rosalina says. "Me too!" Adam says, going inside the gas station.

"Hey, wait, Rosalina, what are you really doing here?" I ask. "Waiting for my brother to finish up work." She says pulling a paper and a pencil. I nodd and head back down the road.

Ross' dream world

Woah. I stand up. My head hurts. I'm in the offices. Wait... I don't work here anymore. Hm. Where is everyone? I walk around for about two minutes. "Pst." I hear. "PST." There it is again. "PSSSSTTTTTTTTT!!" I look around. A hand grabs my arm and pulls me into the Server room. "What th-"

Damn these cliff hangers! Sorry it took so long to publish, I was... out of state. Let's just say that. It's not like I went to E3 or anything! 😥 Anywho, I can't wait for nxt chapter! See ya guys, and as always, Stay Fresh!
