I was about to say something when my cell went off. “Hello?”
“Who's this?”
“What do you mean who is this? You called my phone! You should know who who called you dumb ass!”
“OK now I know who you are. But.. but.. how can it be you... your dead! How can you be alive!”
“Well dear Eli its something called a strong bond of love and modern medicine.”
I could tell that Eli was having a freak out moment. I tried not to laugh but I had failed miserably. I ended up busting out laughing. “Britt this isn't funny I thought you were dead!”
“Well I would have been! Why did you do it, why did you? Why did you make me in to a shush kabob! Why did you run me thew like a knight thrusting his sword thew his enemy. Slade looked at me like you need to lay off the mid evil stuff. “Britt please I didn't mean to, it was meant to be a threat so you would shut up and listen to what I have to say.”
“Well a simple shut up and listen to me would of worked. I mean I would listen to what you had to say if you would of asked me nicely.”
“Britt will you shut up and listen to what I have to say!”
“Yes now what is it that you want to say?”
“Britt you have to listen to me make sure that you stay next to Slade. There are people out there that want to hurt you if your not careful.”
“Eli I know that already. Wait you know the person who is after me don’t you?”
“Yes, Me and Slade both know who's after you. Were sworn to secrecy we can't tell you who's after you.”
“It's not Slade's brother is it?”
“No, but good guess. How did you come up with that?”
“Eh this is turning into a story I read on quizzilla.”
“What was this story called?”
“It was called I think.. 'sweet serenity I feel in love with and assassin.'”
“Britt you read this story?”
“Ya why? Whats the big deal?”
“That was the prophacy. It clearly states that, the princess who reads this, what ever happens in this story will happen to them. With in two weeks of thy reading it.”
'OK why did you say the last part in old English.”
“Well that’s how its written, well at least in my copy it is.”
“OK so sence I have read the story I know what happens so therefore I can prevent it?”
“Ya something like that.”
“Look Eli I got to go but I promise that I will have you put back in jail for what you did to Slade and I or u have the choice of paying my hospital bill, what do you choose?”
“Lets see here now, I'll pay your hospital bill.”
“Oh and by the way the bill is a thousand dollars and that's with out tax.”
“What!.. Britt.. I cant afford that!”
“And you think I can! A collage student who needs to get caught up on home work and needs to ask for job back.”
“Ok, ok ill pay the for you, just don't send me back to jail. Please don’t send me back its cold dark and creepy! I feel like a caged animal when I was there!”
“Well Eli you know that old saying.. Don’t do the crime if you cant do the time.” I could here Slade laughing at all of this. “Hey I got to go, and stay out of trouble.” I hung up before he could say anything else. Slade looked at me with a goofy grin. “What?” What's so funny?”
“Your making him pay the hospital bill when your family said it was all taken care of?”
“I know im smartical!” I just smiled at him. “Hey Slade why don't you hand me my cloths so I can get dressed and we can get out of this hell hole.”
“Aww so that means that I cant dress you.. well help you get dressed?”
“Let me think..no! I can dress my self fine and you don't need to see me and two my dad is just outside the door. I know you, you would try something. If I let you “Help”me dress.”
“Eh your probably right I would kiss your cheek then your lips, and then I would kiss your neck, and then your dad would hit me. I don't want your dad to hit me that would hurt.” I couldn't help but smile at my lovely, sweet, caring boyfriend. “Your afraid of my dad arnt you?”
“Yes but on a respected level.”
“Well I guess that's a good thing.”
“Well he is kind of intimidating.”
“Well not really.” Then I took a minuet and I could see how he would think that my dad was slightly intimidating.
“I can see why you might think so but he's really nice once you get to know him.”
“Your right, but can we please get out of here?”
“Ya hang on just let me get dressed.” I left to go get dressed and I herd my dad come into the room and give Slade the dad to boyfriend talk. Please don't let him be scared off, well he should go easy sence he helped save my life and all.”
Slade's POV
When Britt went into the bathroom to get changed her dad came in. Jeez does he have a sence for these things or something? “Son I would like to have a talk with you.”
“Yes sir.”
“Now you listen and you listen good, you do anything to hurt my daughter and I wont hesitate to hurt you.” I gulped is he threatening me? “Look I don't know what you think of me, but you have no right to threaten me. I swear that I will never hurt your daughter I love Britt with all my heart! I plan on marring her someday!” I stood nice and proud and looked him straight in the eye when I said that. I would of still looked him straight in the eye even if he had a gun pointed to my forehead.
