“Slade you have a smart girl here. She knows how to do business”
“Speaking of business I would like to discuss with you and incident that happen a few years ago. How to put this in business terms... you seamed to screw over my boyfriend. I just want to know why you did that. His music is very good and most appreciated, and he is definitely better that that imposter.” I really hope that I didn’t wreck this recording deal.
“Well Mrs. Powell you make a very good point. I believe that you are speaking from a business perspective and not just a personal one.”
“Why thank you sir.”
“I will accept murmur offer.”
“Really?” I was so in shock that I forgot my business tone.
“Yes it'll not only be Jay Chou it'll be J+B a band.” Slade looked at me “like what did you do?” “Oh well thank you my lawyer will be in touch with you.”
“Lawyer? Miss Britt why does your lawyer have to be in touch with me?”
“Well just to make sure that the contract is valid and is fare.”
“Well you are one smart young lady. Do you need an agent?”
“No we don't need an agent.”
“Oh and why is that?”
“Well you said so yourself that I’m a good businesswomen, so I will be our agent.”
“But my dear you would be doing so much useless and busy work.”
“I rather run my own life then have some person 'in the business' run my life”
“Well that is your chance my dear. You shall do as you wish.”
“Thank you sir now when do we sign the contract?”
“Well aren’t you an egger little one.”
“Well you see sir I have a feeling that you have t he contract with you. So therefore that Slade and I can look over the contract before you make any changes.” Why is this guy smiling what is so funny? “My dear you too smart for your pretty little head.”
“Well sir I think that's a good thing on my part.”
Slades POV
Wow what the hell is going on I can't believe that this woman is my girlfriend. Either she’s a professional businesswomen or she’s just saying a bunch of bull shit that makes sense. Wow she was even smart enough t o deny an agent from the company, and to tell him the nicest most polite way to whip out the contract so we can look it over.
