Chapter 3

Time skip to SheBelieves Cup

Tobin's POV
Today was the day I was going to ask Christen to be my girlfriend. Sure we've been dating, but we haven't made it official that were in an actual relationship. I was snapped out of my thoughts from a knock on the door. I answered it to see my best friend.

Hey Alex, I say giving Alex a hug and opening the door wider to let her in. Alex walks in and sits at the edge of my bed. So what brings you here? I ask. Alex sighs and says, S...Servando cheated on me. My eyes widen at the end of her sentence. She began crying and I ran up to her. I tried to comfort her, but all she did was cry and drench my shirt. I was so infuriated at the fact that Servando broke a beautiful girl's heart. Servando... I always hated him, I had a bad feeling about him. My nickname for him was Servasshole. And it turns out he was an a-hole.

Alex...how exactly did u find out he cheated on you? I asked while trying to comfort her. She started to stop crying and sat up straight. Alex said, I saw an article titled, "Servando's New Girl?", and it showed pictures of him and another girl making out and doing other stuff. At the end of her explanation she began to cry. My hand formed into a fist, God how much I wanted to punch his face. I heard Alex stop crying, I looked down at her to see that she had fallen asleep. She was so beautiful... Wait... What are u thinking Tobin you can't be with her! You're in love with Christen Press remember?!
I look at the time and it's 12:56. We don't have a meeting till 2:30 anyways.

I decide to take a nap dreaming of Alex and Christen. I smile in my dreams.

Alex's POV
I woke up and remembered what had happened before. I look at the clock to see that it's 2:00 and we have a team meeting at 2:30. I get up and see Tobin sleeping. She's so beautiful... Wait.... Alex you can't be with her! She loves Press and your straight! Well at least I think I was straight before I saw Tobin. I always had a thing for her ever since I saw her. I smile at the thought of her: those eyes, that smile, her toned abs, her muscles, her laugh, and that jawline---that jawline could give paper a cut. Wait... Hold your horses baby horse... You can't fall for her remember?! She's in love with Christen. Oh how I am so jealous that Christen gets to be with Tobin.

I was snapped out of my thoughts from someone speaking. I look at Tobin who is smiling in her sleep. She says in her sleep, "I love you, Alex." My eyes widen, did she just say that she loves me? And then she says, "I love you, Christen." That makes me frown. She sure loves Christen. But... She said she loves me. I think I have hope that she has feelings for me too. I look at the time and it's 2:20. Oh shit. We're gonna be late for the meeting
