no. 17

This is a love story
Between humanity and the ocean.
Humanity was awed by the ocean's beauty,
And loved the secret hidden under the ocean's surface

However, humanity was capricious and
Sometimes carelessly polluted the ocean's mind.
This took a toll on the ocean, but it still came back to humanity, lapping at it's ankles.

Once humanity and the ocean got into a bigger argument, and their relationship became as slick as oil.
Though of course, humanity helped pick up the peices and apologize to the ocean.
And so it was; humanity and the ocean.

But humanity never did stop throwing harmful words around, and they piled up inside the ocean, killing it's person.
The ocean wept over humanity, so much so it's tears flooded humanity, spiraling into every Crack,

The ocean engulfed every part of humanity,
Breaking it, and the ocean wept;
For humanity.
For itself.
Until the ocean could weep no more.
