Selena's POV
It was about 7:30 and I was leaving my apartment to go to school. Yes I was still in college but a junior in college so 1 more yr left. I was good
Every morning I go to the café I always get my coffee to go bc its about a 30 Minute walk to campus and I used to be late almost all the time but not anymore!
I was sipping my coffee when I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and head I stopped to bend down and grab the railing next to me spilling my coffee
An image went through my mind
A man,he was being tortured in this metal chair.....and he had a metal arm. Weird....
I screamed in agony. I could feel what this man in my head was feeling and it wasnt so pleasant. I felt numb and helpless I couldn't process what had happen and I fainted as soon as I was able to stand

I woke up in a bed,I was wearing all white, it looked familiar
I was in the hospital....great I thought to myself
I sat up and my head was pounding so I put my hand to my temple
As I did so a nurse walked in
"Your awake" she said with a small smile and a clip board in hand
"What happen,why am I here?" I asked giving a confused look at her
" you had a panic attack and fainted luckly someone called so your here now" she said writing things down on her clip board
"Oh okay" I said laying back down
My parents passed last year so I knew they wouldn't be here obviously and I was the only child so ya
The nurse walked out and in a few more minutes walked back in the room
"A gentlemen is here to see you miss winter,he goes by the name Lincoln"
I shot up regretting it soon after "yes I would like to see him" he was my best friend the only person I had left in my life really
He walked in with flowers and a Teddy bear he smiled and I smiled too
"How you holdin up?"
"Great!" I said sarcastically
He laughed at that as he put the items on the night stand next to my bed
"So what happen exactly?I was so worried you nerd!" He said smiling sitting next to me on the bed
" well my memory is a little blurry but the doctor said I had a panic attack"I said to him
"Really?how did it feel?" He asked me
"Ya it felt like shit but I just feel like this isn't right.....you know like it was something way far past a panic attack" I said to him with a worried look on my face
"What do mean something more than a panic attack?!" He said holding my hand now
"Well before I fainted I remember seeing something in my mind.....it was a man......h-he was being tortured in a chair. He had a metal arm and it was as though I felt his pain......"I said lookin down then back up
"Are you high or something?" He asked me lifting an eyebrow
I smacked his arm"no stupid I'm serious!"
"Okay well maybe you saw it in a movie or something and you just didn't remember it till today and as you were having the panic attack it flashed through your mind. Selena there are logical explanations for this kinda stuff you know" he said standing up
"Ya maybe your right...." I said with a slight chuckle looking away from him
As much as I wanted to believe him I couldn't get last the fact it felt so real.....
The doctor walked in letting us both know that I would be able to leave in a hour
