There's a lot more time to write now plus its summer vacation so more chapters will be up quickly. Don't forget to vote if you like it so far :-)
P. S. Thanks for being patient!!!

The next few weeks at school were hard-–straight up tough on my inner strength, which was weakening by the minute. After that little moment with Donghyuk, I began to rely on him more and more, which I didn't know if he exactly was okay with or not. What I meant was that, shortly after, I found out that he, too, was part of Hanbin's little squad. Which meant that maybe he wouldn't be comfortable being seen with me in front of them... Or maybe he was afraid that Hanbin would do something to either of us. But I still appreciated his presence. Jinhwan was becoming less awkward with me, since we had to talk often because of our class leader positions, and organize events together. A lot of the girls in my class were opening up to me more, and I was grateful. But why was life still hard? The mere existence of Hanbin started to burn flames inside of me and nothing could put that fire out. His "jokes" and "pranks" got more severe, and he had crossed the line a long time ago to make my life miserable. All it took was one look at his face, and I would feel like vomiting, and flipping a whole house upside down. But I guess I ran out of tears, as I no longer was the crying weakling I was a few weeks ago. Instead, I was purely enraged, furious, and insanely frustrated. As for Yunhyeong... I slowly began to understand why he might be avoiding me.

"Sol!" Donghyuk came running down the hallway, breathless, trying to catch up as we were going to lunch. "Today is Friday, which means that it's my day to pay!" he said as he playfully elbowed me in the ribs. I laughed but smacked him away. We had been rotating on this schedule, where Donghyuk paid for both our lunches on some days and I paid on other days. "I guess I'll pick out the most expensive thing on the menu then," I said, teasing.

"Oh yeah, you're not sitting with Hanbin and them today?" I asked while we were on line.

Donghyuk hesitated, looking far off where Hanbin and the group were sitting while laughing and having a good time. But then his expression changed quickly and he looked back at me and shook his head. "Nope, I'm sitting with my friend Sol here today!"

I giggled.

"I heard she's really pretty," he added, whispering into my ear.

"DONGHYUK STOP!" I slapped him on the back and he continued to laugh.

We were having a good time, but on the inside I was tensed up and I knew he was too.

I felt bad knowing that he probably wanted to sit with Hanbin and them. But I decided not to make things complicated, and laughed along.

After eating, I got up to throw out my trash, but then made eye contact with Junhoe. He stared me down, as if he had something to say to me, but it quickly turned into a harsh, aimless glare. I ignored him, as usual, and feeling uneasy, went back to my table with Donghyuk.

"Is it okay for you to not be sitting with them so often?" I asked quietly. I was genuinely concerned.

"Don't worry, Sol! It's fine," he said with a smile. But I could see right through him. I didn't believe him but I let it go. After all, I was beyond grateful that he had become a good friend to me.

Break Time

I made my way to the library, as I needed a quiet environment to study and I also wanted to check out a couple of books. It was strangely empty except for Junhoe and Bobby in the corner, discussing something intently. Not even the librarian was here. I purposely avoided the area with Junhoe and Bobby and set down my belongings in a quiet corner.

After about 20 minutes of studying, I decided to walk around the library to search for the books that I had been wanting to read. I slowly walked into an aisle, only to realize too late that Junhoe happened to be on the other side. He looked up, surprised to see me too, and then fixated his eyes back on what he was looking through.
