MTT Stars (Mettaton x Reader) Continuation from Whirly_Twirl

Chapter 10 ~ I'm fine Metta....

I am so sorry! I feel like I have betrayed people by waiting so long to update! Although, understand that this chapter took time to figure out, as will future chapters. So be patient pasta rolls and read on and know that I worked my but off to get this done.
(My computer is broken so I'm using my phone. Do ya feel me?)

Everyone looked at me with worried faces and even a few teary eyes.

"Why's everybody so upset?" I asked, worry slowly weaving it's way into my head.

"You locked yourself in the bathroom for an hour (Y/N)..." Mettaton replied.

"...an h - hour??" I breathed heavily, I'd never stayed in there calming myself for an hour before.

Everyone nodded.

"Well, Frisk and I have to get going but we hope you'll be alright." Toriel smiled a heartwarming smile, I returned it happily.

"I have to go too. Alphys you coming??" Undyne asked with a much softer tone than usual.

"My mom texted me, my dad's been in an accident. I'm gonna have to go."
"Are you alright?" I asked.
He nodded. Kaden waved at me and left.

Sans and Papyrus had also disappeared somehow without me noticing. Surely Papyrus wouldn't have left without saying goodbye? Sans must've dragged him off then.

"So...." The ghost trailed off. He stared at the floor, hovering next to Mettaton closely.

"Well then. (Y/N) this Napstablook. Blooky dear this is (Y/N)." Mettaton gave one of his signature grins as he introduced us.

"Nice to meet you....." Napstablook trailed off again. It seemed to be a running theme with him.

"Nice to meet you too." I replied. I gave him a smile.

He weakly smiled back. He seemed reluctant to speak or start talking by himself.

"Are you sure you're alright darling?" Mettaton repeated like most of the others. I nodded, I felt his smile pierce me. It was unlike his normal smiles, unsatisfying.

He put a hand on my cheek.

"I'm here. I'll always be here. You have my word, Robots honor." He joked, his tone light but still serious.

"Thank you...I...I really appreciate that Mettaton." I grinned hugging him.

We embraced for a moment, letting it settle.

He was a very sweet person in consideration of his charm.

"...I'm...still here..." Napstablook uttered.

I shot open my eyes and Mettaton seemed to have a similar reaction. We ended our little moment and I felt my face flush with heat. His fan whirred and pink brushed his cheeks.

The silence lingered a little too long. Making me feel awkward inside and out, by now I would've snuck away. But luck wasn't on my side.

Rinnnnnnggg

My phone rang out into the empty theatre. I picked up as fast as my body would allow me.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey (Y/N). It's me Kaden."

"Oh hey. How's your dad?" I sympathised.

"He's good. A bump to the head and a few broken ribs is all. He's fine."

I sighed. "Good. I was worried something really terrible had happened."

We ended the conversation and I sighed. I decided to leave, I wanted to sit and think about my poor life decisions.
