Chapter 14 ~ More Time

You smiled as you watched your boyfriend on the television, he swore he'd announce it today.

You propped yourself up on your elbows and watched the live show intently, you knew he'd do it at some point and you felt slightly bad for nagging him about it.

According to Celeste and Kaden you and Mettaton were adorable. They were shipping you two every second of everyday.

You clicked a button on the remote, around five minutes of footage, were left. You knew that considering he was your boyfriend.

"Well, ladies and gentlemen, that's all for today. But before we leave you..." Mettaton got up from his seat that he was on for that particular section of the show and grinned at the crowd making a few girls swoon at his feet. You growled at them even though they were miles away.

"I, Mettaton, have a special somebody in my life now. Her name is (Y/N) and I adore her. I'm sure you will too." Mettaton chuckled and more girls swooned, although, now their paws won't touch him....but yours will.

You smiled a large smile that rarely saw the outdoors, or anyone. The only person who had seen this smile was Mettaton and your old boyfriends.

BUZZ BUZZ

"Hmph."

Your phone buzzed and you expected a text from Mettaton but instead, it was from your old boyfriend, Andrew. You felt confusion pass through you momentarily before you opened the message and read it.

It read:

Hi, (Y/N).

I want to talk to you about something.

-Andrew

You frowned. This was obviously not good.

You then texted back:

Okay...what do you want to talk about? and when?

He replied almost instantly:

It's something I'd prefer to do in person. Um tomorrow, six thirty pm at that pie place on Islin Street?

Lucky you. Islin Street was the street that the theatre was on, It was right across from the Pie Hole. Assuming that was the place that Andrew was on about.

You started texting back:

Okay. You better be on time, because I'll most likely be early.

You sent the message and heard a knock at the door. You got up, glad that someone could take my mind off of that sketchy meet up with Andrew.

I trotted down the stairs and opened the door to Celeste. She was practically bouncing with happiness.

"So you guys finally announced it!" She squealed in delight as You gave her a look. Celeste laughed and gave you a magazine that she had stuffed, rather harshly by the look of it, into her pocket.

I waved my hand at her and invited her in, she sat down on the sofa and flicked through netflix as I hung her coat up for her.

"Marathon?" She asked as I sat down beside her.

"Marathon." I nodded and she picked a random show and we binge watched the entire thing.
