Cora's POV

"Leave." I command the simpleton that drove me here with a flick of my hand in the direction of the door. He bows, then quickly leaves. I pace my office in the safe house, trying to think of a way I can get revenge on that little brat and her friends.

"A nice death would do great to put them in their places." The dark, soothing voice that has been speaking to me every since I got my powers suggests. Laughing evilly, I agree.

"Yes, a nice, painful, bloody death, or two, or 6, will do perfectly."

"Do you have someone in mind my queen?" The voice asks, sending shivers up my spine.

"Yes, indeed I do. I will have the Hounds deal with them immediately." I show the voice the people I have in mind with my thoughts, and he chuckles.

"Beautiful choices my queen, those will be perfect deaths to administer to those pathetic teenagers."

"Yes, I do believe they will." I grin evilly, then order my Dark Hounds to do the wicked deed of the torturous deaths that are soon, very soon, to come.

Saber's POV

I hear Ivy and the Warrior, apparently called Ian, talking behind me as I walk back to the front hall of the castle. I don't really pay attention to their conversation though, I just catch snippets, like Ian's name, and his nickname. I don't like him, that nickname just implies that he's dangerous. Also, I feel like Nia put her trust in him too quickly and easily.

But, him coming with us will make Nia happy, and I'd feel horrible if we left him here and Queen Cora executed him for helping Nia. I at least have to get him out of this realm and away from her wrath for that. I do owe him for getting Nia out of there before one of the Queen's minions got her.

Cradling Nia in my arms, things finally feel right after days of disarray.

Nia whimpers, and curls up into a ball. I growl lightly, so I don't wake her, guessing that she's having nightmares of her torture. I will find a way to kill Cora. Then I will kill her.

We finally walk into the front room, where blood and bodies are splattered everywhere. There isn't one standing Dark Warrior, and many look charred. That must have been Sophia's doing. I see the backup team came in to give support as well, which is good, even though it seems like everyone is exhausted and with injuries.

"Is anyone seriously injured?" I ask. Molly steps forward into my line of vision and elaborates

"No, we just all have some scratches from their swords, nothing too serious. I also have a twisted ankle, and Jake got a dislocated shoulder that was quickly popped back in, but other than that, and the fact that we are about to collapse, we are okay." I nod and sigh in relief.

"Can you guys make it back to the cabin for rest?" I suggest, not sure if they're too tired from the massive fight.

"Yeah, we should be able to." Molly replies. Star steps forward and quietly requests

"It would be easier if some people could be carried by you, Ivy and possibly Sophia in your chimera forms. Amy and I don't have the energy to shift everyone who needs it."

"That should be fine, we can organize that right now. For now, everyone rest, and I'll discuss carrying plans with Ivy and Sophia." I say, motioning to Sophia and Ivy with my head, since my arms are still occupied with my beautiful Nia.
