Recap:
I removed my hair from my face only to find two girls staring at me with wide eyes
Roomates
“I’m guessing your my roommates?” I slapped my forehead, as they nodded
What a nice first impression huh?
They slowly and cautiously settled their things on their bed keeping distance from me, like I was a rabid animal about to attack them. I’m not that scary am I?
I observed them carefully, the first girl had brown eyes covered by her glasses. The other girl had on a bit of too much make-up on her face and a tanned complexion.
They continued doing whatever they were doing, making me chuckle darkly
“I’m not gonna’ bite you know. Well maybe a little... Kidding,kidding.”
“Who are you?” The girl with glasses said
“Scarlette Marcellus at your service ma’m” I introduced putting two fingers on my forehead in mock salute.
"You’re the principal’s niece!” The other one exclaimed
I shrugged, “Whatever. You are?”
Glasses girl looked at her friend, encouraging her to introduce both of them.
She nodded in response.
“I’m Cara and this is Jade. Want us to show you around?”
I nodded eagerly, not taking the risk of getting lost.
“We’ll just settle our things. Meet us at the elevator in ten minutes.” I nodded in response
I grabbed my skateboard and almost exited when Cara shouted my name.
“Wait! Scarlette, what are you doing with... that?” She pointed horrifyingly at my skateboard.
I gave her a ‘wtf’ look, “I’m gonna’ skate over to the elevator ?” I said, thogh it sounded more like a question than a statement. Does she seriously not know what a skateboard is?
“Duh, but isn’t that too dangerous?” She asked softly
Dangerous?
What the holy fudgin bunny with scarves is she talking about...
I shook my head with an eye roll and skated to the elevator stopping just an inch infront of it. I waited by the side and heard a ‘ding’ behind me. The elevator door opened and four guys stepped out, laughing and punching each other playfully.
If I were to describe them in one word it would be, Hot. They looked so mouth- watering and godly gorgeous.Like they were straight out of a beauty magazine -for men. They all did but a single one got my full attention. He was different, his lips were in a straight line and he looked like he did not enjoy whatever they were doing at all. He looked very grouchy.
Apparently, you don’t miss seeing a girl infront of an elevator checking you out.
They stared at me in either shock, surprise or smug. I don’t know which.
Grouchy guy cleared his throat, “Get out of the way” He brushed passed by me rudely.
“Yeah, sure you may pass by like i’m invincible.” I said sarcastically
“Damn, kitty’s got claws” Another guy said with a wink.
I smiled deadly sweet smile, “And if you don’t scram these claws will hurt you okay?” I said
Seriously, I may look not that tough –which I think I look like, considering the piercings and the glares I give- I can give one hell of a punch. I was trained in an underground fighting club my friend’s dad owns and I got better and better each day.
“What are you even doing in a school like this anyway?” Another one asked
Isn’t it a bit too obvious? What else do you do in school?
“Do you even have a brain to use?” I asked
Grouchy guy slapped his head hard muttering ‘She came here to study you idiot!’
“I can’t help but say you are hot.” The second guy said directly, tapping my ass lightly
My fist instantly connected to his face hardly on impulse. Hey, he was sexually harassing me. I chuckled as he took a few steps back. They rushed to him.
“If I perhaps throw a stick, would you play fetch and leave?” I exclaimed lightly
They hurriedly left, leaving only grouchy guy behind. He stared at me for a few seconds and left, walking as calmly as ever.
What’s wrong with that guy?
I straightened up and surprisingly found Cara and Jade pop out of nowhere. My eyes widened, did they see that?
“Did you uh...”
They nodded
Damn. I’m in deep trouble now.
