I would ask if I could go to the skate park but one I don't want the guys there seeing me with them and two some of the guys smoke. I don't smoke, but if Mark and Ethan saw them doing it they'll think I will to, so I'd be coming right back to the house.
They said they were going to be unpacking right? That might be a good time. They'll be focused on something else and won't notice I'm gone.
Mark and Ethan talked and drank their coffee before they went to their bedroom. That's when I went to the front door. I opened the door slowly, checked to make sure they were still out of sight, stepped out, and slowly closed the door. Now I'm on my way to Starbucks.
Maybe Damien will get me a Carmel Frapuccino.

It was quite the walk so I was texting Damien. He had been there for 10 minutes and was threatening to leave. I talked him out of it, and when I finally got there he had just bought me and him a coffee. Perfect!

"Aw thanks babe." I teased.

"Wow. Glad Riley wasn't here to hear that." He laughed.

"Oh yeah. She'd go crazy!" I said and we got in his car.

Riley and him had dated for a little over a year. At first they were always together! I never got to see Damien. I personally think Riley hated me and that was the point, but Damien clams she didn't. Since about three months ago they've calmed down. Like they calmed down so much I thought they broke up. Me and Riley recently became good friends, we just don't see each other as much. She's not into the skate scene so she hates going to the skate park, but she will sometimes and that's how we became friends.

When skating we leave our stuff on our table. Well that's where my phone was for the whole four hours we skated. When we stopped and took a break that's the first I had looked at my phone since we got here.
On a scale from 1 to fucked how much trouble do you think I'm in?
I had about 40 text messages and a ton missed calls. I read all the texts from Mark and Ethan. They mostly just said:
Where are you?
You are in so much trouble young lady!
Come. Home. Now!
I'm calling Mrs. Reed!
Answer your phone!

I just ignored it. I'll get back when I get there. They don't own me. They are giving me a place to live, but they don't own me.
At about 7 Damien had to leave because he's grandma was coming over for dinner. His parents told him if he wasn't home for dinner to never bother coming back at all. His parents love him and wouldn't actually kick him out but they've been fighting lately so they're on edge.
Since Damien had to go home I had to also. I showed him how to get to the house and before I got out of the car Damien started fake crying.

"What the heck dude?" I laughed.

"I'm sorry I'm just emotional. What if I never see you again?" He continued fake crying and grabbed my arm.

"Omg man up. I may get "grounded" but nothing stops me. You know that." I said putting finger quotes around grounded.

"That's true he said. Be careful and don't give them too much trouble okay?" Damien asked.

"Haha yea I'll try." I said getting out of the car.

I watched Damien drive off before I turned to walk to the front door. But just take a wild guess about who was waiting for me on the porch.
