The Truth- Chapter 9

Rory's POV

I'm in the centre of a swirling mix of purples and reds. I'm falling...falling down and down deeper into the abyss. Air swirls around me and suddenly all air is punched out of me as my back hits the ground. I close my eyes pain wrapping itself around my body, engulfing me.

The purple and red has turned black. Slowly the darkness morphs into hazy figures which slowly before my eyes turn into trees. I'm in a forest. The ground beneath me is soft and I feel needles softly pressing into my hands. The smell of the forest fills my senses. Staring at the canopy above me a strange tingling feeling starts to crawl up my arms. Soon my whole body is buzzing with a strange kind of energy. Sitting up in horror I start clawing at my arms trying desperately trying to get the foreign feeling off of me, the tingling wasn't painful it just felt foreign and i hated the way it buzzed inside of me. Suddenly a women with a white dress comes towards me, she was impossibly beautiful with soft brown hair and startling blue eyes. She seemed familiar to me somehow and as she crouched down towards me I realised SHE was ME, except for the fact she had enhanced beauty and her hair was slightly longer than my own also she seemed around 25 years old.

"Rory its lovely to finally meet you."

"Umm Hello?" I said my voice shaking for some unknown reason.

"No need to be afraid my dear. My name is Gemma , i'm here to guide you through the pain your will face in the near future."

"Well this is cliche." I said the first thing that had come to mind. Gasping in realisation i slapped my hand over my mouth in horror.She just laughed a soft tinkly sound that somehow made me think she sounded like fairy. She gave me a somewhat motherly hug and walked off. At this point the tingly feeling had subsided and i was left feeling confused. What the hell? Its official i'm losing my marbles. Suddenly pain washes over me and i scream in agony , blackness overcomes me and i fall into a deep sleep once again...

Adam's POV

After the incident with Rory earlier on, I had contacted the other elementals saying how we had matters we needed to discuss. I was terrified what Rory meant, how she could change the world. I had just sunk into the mattress when I heard a knock at the door. Opening it I saw Finn standing in front of me. Finn's element was earth which is why he is so level headed and calm. I welcomed him inside the house just as an ear splitting screech reached my ears.
