Chapter 7 - elemental

"Prove to me your an elemental then Adam!"I said, on my face was a smirk at the crazy antics of the luny.
"Fine." All traces of humour vanish from Adams face as he closes his eyes, breathing deeply. I let out a gasp of surprise as from Adams finger tips a thin line of fire shot out. What?! That meant was most certainly going crazy, I'm probably hallucinating. I pinched myself but to no avail as when opening my eyes I was still met with piercing green ones. Maybe this was like some kind of messed up wizard of oz thing and I had to do the whole I want to go home thingy.

Closing my eyes I clicked my feet together whispering softly "I want to go home, I want to go home-"
"Um what are you doing? You do know this isn't the wizard of oz plus your not wearing the right kind of shoes right?" Adams voice was light and cheerful. Turning around I did the thing I was least expecting to do. I punched him straight in the jaw.
"Ow ow ow ow!!!!" Stepping back I cradled my injured hand close to my chest. Adam just stood there smiling at me.
"When you get your powers you get extra strength and speed as well." He said grinning and revealing two adorable dimples.
"Fuck you." I said , I had just had enough. In the same day my mum try's to kill me, I meet a MAN and he says I have magic powers and he proves he does. My head starts spinning and as I'm plummeting towards the ground I hear somebody shouting my name.

Opening my eyes I'm greeted by soft , silky sheets, my fingers glide over the fabric and grin stretches across my eel as if I'm floating , the sheets are so different to the rough itchy fabric I'm used to. The bed is huge , tall pillars very corner hand carved creating a swirling effect. The mattress beneath me is bouncy and I press my fingers into it enjoying the luxuries. That is until I realise where I am.

Adam's POV (point of view )

I don't know what to do. Ever since I saw her I new she was an elemental, it felt as it someone had attached a piece of string onto my leg and was pulling me ever closer. One of the main reasons that the males took over the world was because of us. Elementals. We were on there sides and with our powers we were guaranteed to win. There was a tale saying how the very first elemental was blackmailed into doing helping them, elementals because there are only four of them would do anything for one another. The whole world changed in less then a week. People who had been in love for years broke up, the men choosing domination over equality.

Out of every group of elementals there are two submissive and two dominant. Air and earth are submissive and water and fire are dominant. It was said that the first water elemental was the one who was blackmailed, and after seeing the wrong he did he killed himself. Ever since then there has never been a water elemental found although there has been rumours. But Rory is a girl, should he abandon everything he has ever known for her. He felt a strong urge to protect her and don't let any harm come to her. What had he gotten himself into?
