Chapter 8- Powers

Rory's POV

I sat in the silky soft sheets of the bed and screamed. Where was I? Tears started running down my face as soon as I realised I had been kidnapped. I started sobbing loudly into the sheets of the bed. I heard running outside my rooms door and somebody ran over to me. I pulled away from them terrified about what they would do to me. "Shh, it's just me Adam."Adam said reassuringly. He pulled me into his arms whilst I sobbed. "Where am I?" I said hiccuping slightly because of my crying. 

"This is my house darling."

"But why did you take me here?"I asked confused. Why would he take me to his house? He was a man and i was a women, it didn't matter that he thought we were the same race , even if we were i should still be locked up in the cellar. 

"Our species is meant to protect one another, when our species touch our powers awaken. But it does take a huge emotional moment before your powers escape in a surge.That is one of the reasons why you were maybe more emotional today then you might have otherwise been."His crystal green eyes were strangely soft  and almost.....caring.  I finally snapped. Who does he think he is? He stole everything from me, and now is being KIND to me?

"STOP LYING TO ME JUST TELL ME WHY THE FUCK YOU KIDNAPPED ME AND WHAT THE HELL IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO ME!!! MY MOTHER IS A TRAITOR AND ALL OF MY FRIENDS HAVE BEEN MURDERED!"I shouted and my hands started moving of there own accord. I felt shivers and adrenaline as though cold water was being poured into my body. I pulled my hands back and push them forward towards Adam. Water flowed out of my hands pulling him to the wall , holding him there like hands. 

Slowly walking towards him I spoke softly. 

"You took everything from me and now I'm going to do the same to you." Slowly pulling my hands together the hands tightened around his neck slowly constricting him. His face turned red and he only managed to choke out one word.

"S-o-rr-yy"

It felt as though I had been struck by lightening. I dropped my arms, I'm a monster, I'm just like THEM. Dropping to the ground I let darkness take over me.

Adam's POV

She was different . Rory's powers were far superior to any other elemental I had ever come across. Her eyes had GLOWED when she had pulled me across the wall. 

I didn't take anything personally, when I got my powers I caused somebody to go into a coma. Pulling her close to me I wrapped a blanket around her ,lying her head on my knees. Water still swirled around her hands, her power buzzed around the room.
