Personal update: With the lack of a personal life I tend to have, you'd think I could get my shot together. Alas, I'm once again floating through life feeling pretty purposeless, unsure of nearly everything. But, I'm still alive, although I feel pretty dead inside, and I absolutely adore every vote and comment. You five or six people know who the fuck you are, and I'd like for you to give yourselves a crisp high five.

Message me if you lovely motherfuckers have any requests, and I'll do my best. Apologies to the one who wanted Cricky fluff, it's still in the works.

Now, a second part to my original Ghorrorless...

Being a parent is nothing like I could have imagined. When I thought of being a Dad before, I'd think of stinky diapers and tantrums and sleepless nights, all of which were apart of the package. However, I don't think I realized before how much the tiny human would mean to me. I never accounted for the cuddles and storytimes and laughs in the bath. I didn't know my heart had room for so much love.

The night we announced Ricky's pregnancy was almost nineteen years ago. Sometimes I look back at how I felt that night and I chuckle to myself. I was so young and naive, we all were, but we had love, and I'm positively convinced that that's what got us through everything.

As much as I wish I could lie and say all of our fans respected and accepted us, I can't. The record label wasn't happy, and neither were our band mates. I spent many sleepless nights on the phone with Fearless, and many more coffee fueled days emailing other labels and texting the guys, who eventually came to accept our way of life.

I managed to switch our label to one owned by a friend, and it's benefited us both greatly. I'm able to book tours and schedule band events around my family, which made Ricky a happier Momma. He had made it very clear that we were not having a baby if we weren't going to raise it properly.

We bought a small townhouse and decorated the nursery with little bats and pumpkins. Devin used the small office space for Worn Doll, and we renovated the basement into a music room for the band.

Though, it didn't take long for our little family to grow and we were forced to find more space

Though, it didn't take long for our little family to grow and we were forced to find more space. Devin and Ricky, who had both become attached to the small gothic home, devised a plan to add onto the current structure, and we endured an entire year of renovations to put their plan in place.
