Roxy and I had been at the Halloween party for a few hours. There were drinks and snacks, but Roxy couldn't really be held back when it came to her drinks. I was just making sure I didn't die of heat, because the costume I was wearing was hot as Hell, and there was no air conditioning at my house, because someone, namely Jade Harley, broke it when she brought a bird inside and started chasing it like a dog. Plus, the couch was made of flannel, for some reason.

Roxy had had, like, seven drinks by now, and I could already tell she was overly drunk, not that I'd stop her, of course. Because to be pretty honest, I think I had a crush on her, and if she had one too many drinks, one thing might lead to another, and...well...bleh. The point is, I wasn't stopping her anytime soon.

"Heyyyyyyyy Johnny," Roxy said. Hoo boy. She is not going to last the night, is she? "I just had like a million bajillion sharks...*hic*"
"Uh, sharks?" I asked, confused.
"Oh, did I say cats? I meant drinks..."
(This story proves that I have never touched alchohol in my life)
"That's pretty obvious, Roxy," I said.
"Hehehe..."
Yeah, she definitely wasn't going to survive the night with that much alchohol in her. I decided that she probably needed to go to bed, because I didn't want to be responsible for whatever she would do, has already done without me knowing, etcetera. "Okay, Rox, time for bed. See you tomorrow morning, blah blah blah. Parenty things."
"But whyyyyyyy...!" She yelled, attracting attention from the others.
Kanaya walked over. "Is everything alright?" She asked.
"Oh--yeah, everything's going great," I said. "Enjoying the party?"
Kanaya nodded.
"Great, now go on, don't waste the whole night with a nerd and...er...her. See you later, Kanaya." I made up some friendly conversation to stall her, and as she left, I got back to Roxy. "Alright, for serious, time for bed. Later."
Roxy continued to wail. "BUT JOOOHHHHNNN--"
