England, needless to say, was not having a good day. After all, a bunch of his people had been killed recently. So the death eaters were back. The dark mark was back in the sky. Then again, did that really mean He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was back? Maybe it was just a a scare tactic. Scare tactic or not, though, England was in a terrible state. He'd had a horrible headache ever since the incident, and since lots of people were killed, his brother Patrick (Northern Ireland) was furious. And of course he was getting all the blame. So while Arthur suffered physical repercussions, he was cared for by being yelled at. Frowning as he drank his tea in a now-rare moment of silence, he made a note to send an owl to Canada as soon as possible.

Back on the Hogwarts Express, Canada suddenly found himself surrounded by fourth year girls. Of course, as usual, he was ignored. The girl who seemed to be their leader presented herself to Harry as Romilda Vane. She went on about the Yule Ball or something of the sort- to be truthful, Matt hadn't actually been paying her any mind until she bumped into him.
"What the?!-" yelled Romilda as she bumped into a boy she had sworn hadn't been there before.
"I'm ca- er- Matthew. Matthew Williams," said Matt, secretly quite happy that Alfred wasn't here for him to be confused with. Suddenly, however, he want back to being invisible. As Romilda walked out, she neither apologized nor even gave him a second glass.
"Well, that was odd," said Harry.
"Do you always have that effect on people? Being unnoticeable, I mean," said Hermione.
"Wait... Who's he again," asked Nevile. Hermione face palmed. Ron continued eating his corned beef sandwich unenthusiastically.
