He played with his tie as he watched him walk down the aisle. All eyes were on him -- well, of course they were. His soon-to-be husband was the epitome of beauty. Noct only tightened his tie, keeping his gaze firmly on Prompto's shaky one. "Eyes on me," he mouthed, smirking a little bit. "Don't get nervous, now."

Shall I stay

"Shut up," Prompto had mouthed back, though on his face was nothing but an adoring smile. It never seemed to leave his freckled face. As he climbed the steps to the podium, he stumbled a bit, causing Noctis to lunge forth as capture him in his arms. The church let out a hearty laugh. After willing his blush away, Prompto gripped Noct's hands, chuckling under his breath as he noticed their clamminess. "I love you," he whispered softly, as Noctis turned his face away in response to his sweaty palms.

"I'll protect you, even when I don't want to," Noctis confessed, unable to look up into Prompto's eyes out of true embarrassment. "I'll stand by you, no matter what happens. You're the light of my life, you know that? All that matters to me is you. I know it's clingy, but it's true!" He quickly added that last part, making the church chuckle once again. "I can't help falling in love with you."

"Be clingy. Cling to me like ivy," Prompto replied, tilting Noctis' chin up to meet his charming gaze. "Because I'll be doing the same. I'm sure you remember from when we were kids, but I hate to share. You're all mine," Prompto proclaimed, making Noctis elbow him a bit. Just the night before in his bedroom, the playful blonde had whispered the same thing into his ear before biting it. Smug, sexy bastard.

"I'm overjoyed to be here with you right now, Noctis. I see you and all I can think about is how much I want to kiss you and tickle you and love you until you beg for mercy. Every part of you is so perfect, so...beautiful, that I can't help myself. You really do belong to me and only me," Prompto said with a heartfelt smile, severing their conjoined hands to wrap his arms around Noct's waist and pull him closer. "I can't wait for tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that, because I know that you're there waiting for me."

Before the priest could even finish speaking, Prompto found it too hard to wait. "I can't help falling in love with you," he whispered softly to his beloved, before pulling him forth by his tie to kiss him. It was as if his life had been completed with that kiss -- it truly...made everything in his life perfect. A surprised Noctis had stumbled a bit, but was now adjusting to the sudden kiss and wrapping his arms around Prompto's neck to ensure as much contact between them as possible. Whilst the crowd hooted and cheered, the priest announced, with a smile on his face, "I now pronounce you husband and husband."

As Prompto sat beside his newly betrothed at the reception, his cheeks grew red as he heard a certain song begin to play. Oh, god -- this was the song of firsts. Their first date, Noctis had played this song. Their first kiss, this song had come on in the car. Their first time together intimately, Noctis had purposely sang it under his breath as they made the softest, sweetest love together. "Would you care to dance with me?" Noctis asked with a smirk on his face, offering his hand to Prompto. "Fuck you," the blonde had laughed, before standing and taking the Prince's hand.

Whisked onto the dance floor, all the two of them could do was stare at each other, reveling in the treasure they'd found. Noctis jumped a bit as the inexperienced Prompto stepped on his toes, giving him playful love bites to the ear as punishment. "I wish things could stay this way forever. Just you and I," Noctis said, resting his head in the nook of Prompto's neck, all while enjoying the musky scent of the cologne he'd probably never wear again. "I do, too. But then we'll never find more moments like this, and that's not what I want," Prompto replied, grabbing Noctis' chin once more.

As if in a trance, Noctis couldn't bring himself to look away. "You're such a fucking idiot, you know that? You're making me cry," He swore, furrowing his brows in a vain attempt to keep the tears from falling. "Get over here," Noct ordered, pulling Prompto his way before meshing their lips together for a meaningful kiss that conveyed more emotion than a million words ever could. Both put all their pent up feelings into that kiss, squeezing each other as close as possible. Noctis leaned up to Prompto's ear, parting his lips and taking a breath before saying...
