Chapter 1~ Habits

Bella's P.O.V
5:46 A.M
I stand up as quietly as possible from the bed. I look over at guy number 5 this month sleeping under the sheets. I roll my eyes and I start picking up my clothes from the floor.
When I had finally gotten dressed I scurried out of the room, grabbing my purse that was sitting on the table. Man it's hard to be sneaky like this all the time. I start my car, fixing my hair a little bit before leaving the house.

I walk into my house, quietly of course so I don't wake anyone up.
"Where were you?" A voice asked from the couch.

"Shit." I mutter to myself, then I turn around to see my brother sitting there.

"I was .... Out." I reply to him, taking off my shoes.

"Where?"

"Non of your business, what are you doing up at six thirty in the morning anyways?" I snap at him, he rolled his eyes.

"Ok whatever." He sighed, I roll my eyes and go upstairs to my room. I pulled out my phone to see I got a text from guy number five.

5- where do you go this morning?

I roll my eyes and ignore it. I was never gonna stay. I never do. It's just a habit of mine, I can't help it. It sounds like a terrible thing to do to someone, to just leave. I mean I thought guys always liked one night stands? So that's what I'll give them.
I take a long shower, getting rid of the smells that had latched onto my body from the night before. Sex and alcohol. And just because I do these things doesn't mean I'm that terrible of a person. I'm on honor roll at school, at least. When I'm done with my shower, I put a long shirt and underwear on and crawl into my bed. Oddly I was still tired so I fell back to sleep.

Jace's P.O.V (btw he is not a famous actor, he has like a couple thousand followers on INSTA but that's it)
8:46 A.M
I was so not ready. A new school didn't sound that great to me. I didn't start till Monday but it was still nerve racking nevertheless. I was the only kid in my family who had to suffer this since my brother and sister are out of the house.

"Jace! Can you come down here please?!" I hear my mom yell from downstairs. I groan and put my phone in my pocket and left my room.

"What?" I say as get to the bottom of the stairs.

"I would like if you would walk Henry for me please." She asked me.

"But mom-"

"Please, I'm still trying to organize the kitchen." I sighed.

"Alright, sure." She smiled at me then went back to the kitchen. I grab the leash and Henry immediately was jumping all over me.

"Chill dude we're going." I say while opening the door, Henry trying to bolt out but the leash kept him from it. I shut the door behind me and started walking to the sidewalk to walk around the neighborhood I have now moved to.
It wasn't that bad, all the houses are nice. I start humming to myself while walking since I was bored out of my mind. I got into parts of the neighborhood I havnt seen before, now seeing a small park to my right.

"Hey watch out!" I hear a voice call my way, I turn my head back to the sidewalk too see a guy on a skateboard coming my way. It was too late since he collided into me and we both fell I into the grass.

"Ow." I groaned, and sat up in my elbows.

"Yo dude I'm sorry, I wasn't looking." The boy next to had said.

"Don't worry about it." I stand up and dust off myself. The boy also stood up. He was about my height, dark brown hair styled sorta like mine, and brown eyes.

"I havnt seen you around before. Did you just move in?" He asked me curiously.

"Oh uh yeah, I'm Jace. Jace Norman." I reply to him. The right corner of his lip curved up a little bit and he nodded.

"The names Mason, Mason Calabera." Mason said with a very excited tone. He stuck out his hand to shake mine, I took his hand.

"Welcome to the neighborhood." He says.

"Thanks." I laugh.

"Why ya laughing?" He asked.

"I don't know you're just so oddly... Happy." I choose my words carefully.

"Oh well I try." He shrugs."you seem like a cool guy, wanna hang out with me and my friends?"

"Uh sure why not." I sigh, and pull Henry along with me to follow Mason. We walked into the park, there were only a few kids around. We approached two other guys sitting on benches and talking.

"Hey guys." Mason called to them, they stopped their talking to look over at us.

"Who's this??"one of them asked looking at me up and down.

"This is Jace. He just moved here." Mason introduced me.

"Hm." Another guy hummed and stood up." I'm James Holland." Said this boy who had dirty blonde hair with blue eyes.

"I'm Collin Forbes." The other boy had said who was still on the bench. He had jet black hair, dark green eyes.

"Hey." I awkwardly wave.

"Y'all wanna go to a party tonight?" Mason spoke up excitedly.

"Here comes the party animal side." James sighed, I scrunch my eyebrows together. Mason gave him a look." Dude chill, it's not like I don't wanna go."

"Jace you wanna come?" Mason turned to me.

"Oh uh that sounds good." I nodded. Can't pass up making friends right? I've been to parties before, so I'm not inexperienced.

"Cool!" Mason said excitedly and went back on his phone.

A great start to a new life.
