Omega Squad arose early in the morning, around 6:00. Patricia was still groggy upon waking up, as she'd only gotten about 3 hours sleep. After all, that's what happens when you have to rest with one eye open. They loaded up their gear, and Michael and Jack were fumbling with the map. When Patricia finally got into her power armor, Michael took a quick look at her.

"Not bad at all, rookie." He chuckled.

"Do NOT call me that." Patricia scowled.

"Relax, I'm just bugging you..." his gaze lowered.

"Hey, jerk-wad, my eyes are up here!!"

"You have a Pip-Boy. How the hell did I forget that?" Michael slapped his forehead in frustration.

"Umm.. yeah, what do you need it for?"

"Depends," Jack started up, "does the mic still work on it?"\

"Nope. That got fried about 4 years ago." Patricia raised an eyebrow. "You weren't gonna call backup right away, were you?"

"Well, we were. But thankfully," Jack messed with a few knobs on the Pip-Boy, "Viola! Map settings updated, coordinates set. Now we just gotta follow that baby home!"

"Hmph. Impressive. How'd you know how to do that?" Riker inquired.

"Dad was a Vault Dweller. He taught me a few things before he died. And yes, the bio-lock does end upon death, but he buggered off somewhere when I was a kid so I never found his body. Probably belongs to some scavver by now."

The squad finished packing up, and followed Patricia's lead through the dense forest. 200 years of being left alone, and the forest swallowed up most of the island. Not much was left, except for a few rickety bridges to the mainland and some ruins.

In about 3 hours, they arrived at the Enclave base. The had taken over an old military base, and most of their army lived on the aircraft carrier that sank not far away. They even built a road to it and everything.

The squad was greeted at the gate with a salute, which was reciprocated by Omega Squad. Patricia had fumbled it, but the gate keepers didn't seem to notice.

"Sergeant Mars, Colonel Lycan requests your presence on the main bridge ASAP, sir." One of the guards exclaimed.

They all marched over to the giant carrier, and climbed the stairs all the way to the top. A loud knocking sound was heard from the huge steel door as they arrived at the top of the stairwell, and several armed guards opened it from the inside. Upon walking through the door, they noticed a woman in a clean, grey uniform with a fancy-looking hat, staring into the distance.

"Colonel Lycan, sir. Sergeant Michael Mars and Omega Squad, reporting for duty!" Michael proclaimed in an official tone, saluting.

"At ease, soldiers. Guards, leave us alone for a few minutes. We will send for you when needed." And with that, all the guards in the room walked out, locking the door behind them.

"Now, want to tell me why the hell we're suddenly at war again, with the Brotherhood Of Steel?!" Colonel Lycan shouted.

"We actually can," James piped up. "I'm a field recruit, by the way. I'll explain later. This here, is Sentinel Patricia Fiore, who was supposed to be next in line for leadership of the local BOS. Now, before you go pulling your gun, she and Sergeant Mars were both framed for murder of the elder, causing Patricia to be exiled, and all Enclave to be shot on sight. We need reinforcements to storm their base, and remove the current figurehead."

The woman stood there for a moment, inspecting each and every one of them for what felt like a lifetime. Suddenly, she turned to her desk behind her, and grabbed the microphone, and it squealed on.

"Men and women of the Enclave. It is time for revenge. Years ago, we lost Navarro. Now, the Brotherhood stands against us today. However, we have a former member in our midst, who explained why this is happening. The Brotherhood are under a tyrannical leadership, one who would see us destroyed again. We need not wipe out the faction, only to cut the head off the snake. But if you see any soldiers wearing your fallen comrades dogtags... You have my personal permission to execute them if you see fit. Sergeant Mars of Omega Squad will be leading the charge and assigning all tasks for this mission. If you wish to sign up, be on the parade square in half an hour. Lycan out."

The woman turned to Michael with a slight grin on her face. "You're in charge of this one. Your mission is to eliminate the Elder of the Vancouver Brotherhood of Steel, nothing more, nothing less. Understood?"

"Yes, sir." Michael responded, with a salute.

"Dismissed!" The woman shouted, as the guards opened the door and escorted Omega Squad out. The hunt was about to begin.
