the wind was blowing hard the next morning and it was storming out. I heard the piano playing down stairs. No one has played it since ally left 4 years ago. I jumped out of bed and ran down the attic stair opening the door. Was ally finally home? I ran across the hall and down the main steps and through the living room to the piano room. Ally was playing the keys very softly. I hadn't heard 'To Build a Home' in forever. I sat there while she sang the beautiful song. then she suddenly stopped. "Riley?" I nodded crying. "ally?" she looked at me, she was bald, for she had leukemia. "where's mom and dad?" I asked. she smiled but a tear fell. "they aren't here." she replied. "where are they?" she closed her eyes while the tears streamed down her face. I ran to her and hugged her really tight. "I love you Ally." I said crying on her shoulder. "your home." I smiled and wiped away the tears. she shook her head. "Riley, I'm saying goodbye, I died an hour ago and soon the phone will ring and you'll get the call that I didn't make it." I felt the tears rush harder. "no!" I screamed. "no you can't go!!" I yelled louder and grabbed for her. "riley, I love you too." she grabbed me by the shoulders and kissed my cheek. "you can do this you can move on from my death." I couldn't hold it in. "no! you cant! I love you! we love you! don't go." I fell to my knees and fell onto my back and to my side. I felt a hand touch me. "riley!" Nate was shaking me but I still was crying. "hey shhhh." he held me in his arms and I quieted down a little and then was silent. "Riley." I looked over his shoulder and saw ally. "it's time for me to die." I blinked and she was gone. I stood up. "I need to get out of her." I said swallowing and running to my room. "Riley!" Nate said chasing me up the steps and I locked my room. he banged on the door. "open the door!" I grabbed my coat and my hat. pulling them on and opened the window. I slid out on the roof and jumped onto the smaller beside and onto the grass. the rain fell onto me but I could hear the phone ring I started walking away and heard my mom scream a cry and my dad cry and I just took a run for it. I ran down the street and past the coffee shop and past the church and then the hotel. I caught my breath and saw the abandoned movie theater which was abandoned in the fifties. I jumped over the fence and opened the doors and grabbed the flashlight I leave here in the ticket booth. I opened the red and black doors and went into the 13th row in the 14th seat. and just sat there. quietly. hearing the rain falling on the roof. I switched my flashlight off and everything sunk in. I just saw Ally's ghost, I new she died before anyone else in my house. she was infront of me in my house, playing that song. why was she there? I didn't even tell her anything. "there was so much I needed to tell you!" I heard my scream echo. I stood up. "so much I haven't told you!" I sat back down and brought my knees up to my chin and just sat there all alone in this movie theater and cried.
