Chapter Two

A day off

You and Snake got a day off and you decided to go out. You walked around town and did some window shopping. You were walking around some jewelry shops and something bought you're eye. You marveled at the thing you saw. Pure gold and silver. Shiny and dull. Beautiful and pretty. It reminded you of the time when you saw all those beautiful creatures called 'snakes' but this one in particular had Jade eyes and it made it seem passive and aggressive at the same time.

"Do you want it?" You jumped at the sudden language. Since Snake doesn't talk much his normal voice is scary when it comes out of nowhere. You turned with eyes as big the sun. "Yes" is all you could choke out before you fainted with your eyes soaked completely with tears.

You wake up in Snakes bed again and think, "I sure do pass out alot." You look at the bedside table and see the beautiful pin. You pick it up, and take one look at it and gold it to your chest and start to cry again.

At the same time Snake comes into the room. He sits next to you and starts to hug you. "Thank you so much. I love you so much. I'm tired and it's late, we should go to bed." Snake nodded. You got up to leave, but Snake grabbed your hand. "You can stay here if you want."

So, taking the offer you slide into the bed with him. He was warm, and he kissed your forehead once before you both fell asleep.

The Surprise.

Snake walked through the long hallways to get to the young Lords office. "Are you sure he'll say yes?" Emily said.
"And we can't talk for you either so you'll have to leave us out here." Oscar remarked.
"We'll see." Snake knocked on the door. "Enter."

You and Snake walked along the gardens and stopped to rest around your favorite flowers. He didn't have any of his snakes with him, so that was strange. "(Y/n)?" "Yea?" He was talking himself so that was also strange.... "Snake stood up and bent down on one knee, you were very confused. He pulled out a small box not covered with the traditional velvet, but with snake scales the color of emerald. He opened it, and it contained a silver and gold ring with a jewel of.... Jade.... and asked, "(y/n), will you marry me?" You gasped, and lightly touched the pin Snake gave you. They matched. "Yes!!" You screamed back and hugged him tightly.

As the other servants watched they cheered to themselves as well

You went running with Snake back to the manor to go tell Emily. You burst open the door, and although you thought she might know, you had to tell her. Emily! Emily! Emily! guess what? Me and Snake are engaged now!" You kept squealing and Emily wrapped herself around your arm. You hugged Snake again, and for a long time too. "It matches the pin!" Emily said.
Who did Snake have to fight to get you?" You obviously knew this was that snake thing and how they fight for their mates. "Well, Snake was lucky, he didn't have to fight anyone!" You replied almost sarcastically. "What luck!" Emily said back.
