~Evan's pov~

I feel so empty. I can't even cry anymore. It hurts so much. I just want him back. I'll do anything for him to come back.

"Evan? Can you please come and eat?" Came Nogla's worried voice. I wrapped the forgotten jacket around me tighter. He's been trying to get me to come out of my room for a week now and to no avail.

"No. Go away." I heard him sigh then heard his retreating footsteps.

I layed there longer and felt my eyelids begin to get heavy when someone busted into my room.

"Get up now!" Oh no. Alex.

"No!" I said glaring at him. He walked up to my bed and pulled my covers off of me.

"Let's go. You and me are going to take a run." When I didn't make an effort to move, he grabbed my hand and pulled me out of bed. "You either use your legs, or I'm dragging your ass down the stairs, out the door, and down the sidewalk! Now move, Evan, move!"

Not wanting to be dragged around, because I know he'll do it, I practically sprinted towards the door. Alex followed close behind me.

"Knees to chest!" He yelled as I opened the door and rushed out. Alex was now running beside me, in much more comfortable clothes than I am. My chest heaving up and down as we ran.

I can't believe they called Alex! Fucking Alex! This man is crazy!

We ran around the city until we stopped at a park. I doubled over and placed my hands on my knees. Alex clasped a hand on my shoulder.

"Sit. We need to talk."

~Jonathan's pov~

I walked down an ally to the bar I've been going to for the past week. When I walk in I see an open seat at the bar. The bartender noticed me and got what I wanted ready. She's an older woman with slightly gray hair, other than the gray hairs she has brown hair. Her eyes a vibrant green and matched her hair well. Her skin pale and barely any wrinkles in sight.

"Here you go." She said as she slid my drink across the counter.

"Thanks." I said and picked it up.

"I've noticed you in here a lot. Want to tell your story?" I stared at her in confusion. "Well everyone has a story sweetie. Want to share yours? My names Georgia."

"Jonathan." I replied monotone like.

"Well then Jonathan, tell me. What brought you here?" I looked into her eyes and saw something that's similar to a mother looking at her child. (No, Georgia is not his mom ya saps.) So I told her. Every last detail. Tears ran down my face the while time.

"And I walked away when I sh-should have stayed. And-" my voice was lost in sobs.

"Oh honey. If there's one thing I learned it's that you're never too late. I thought I was too late once, I wasn't. I learned so much from that. In my 46 years of living I've saved lives. Many lives. I've saved relationships. I've helped young men and women out of dangerous situations. And I'm going to help you." I stared at her, never breaking eye contact as she told me what to do. "Now, you go get your man back. I don't want to see you back here without him." I smiled at her.

"Thank you, Georgia." She grabbed my hands and smiled.

"It's never too late, Johnny Boy." I reached across the counter and hugged her before dashing out of the bar.

I'm getting Evan back.

~Evan's pov~

After I was finished telling Alex everything he stared at me. Basically in shock.

"Wow." Was all he said.

"And I've messed up. I drove him away a-and-" the words got caught in my throat until I could voice them. "I miss him. So much. I want him back Alex." I sniffled.

"I'm not good at these kinds of talks but I'll tell you this, you two will work it out. If I've noticed anything between you two, is that you always work it out. I bet he misses you just as much."

"But I hurt him so badly. What if-"

"No 'what if's'. That's not how you get through things. I believe in you two. Now we better be heading back. It's starting to get dark." We stood up and started walking back to the hideout when we saw something, no someone, in an alleyway lying motionless.

"Jonathan?"
