Stevie drove to meet Tru at his office. He needed to talk to him about recruiting more runners.
Da Razkalz Cru had most of Atlanta covered, but there were still a few untouched areas.
Scrapp and Stevie were lieutenants, so they had five to ten niggas under them doing their dirty work.
Tru allowed them to push major weight. He supplied them with keys of heroin and cocaine to sell to his top buyers, but nobody made any moves without his approval.
Stevie had a flock of niggas who wanted to get put on, but Tru had to give him the green light.
Stevie's phone beeped snapping him back from his thoughts. He had three new voicemails.
"Ay, bruh. When you're done with Tia, hit me," he heard Scrapp's voice echo into the phone.
Stevie was heated. He wanted to keep him and Tia a secret because to be honest, she was not a good look for him.
He was used to bad women flocking to him, but he wanted someone who wanted more out of life, and Tia didn't. She had money, but he could tell she didn't work for it.
He worked hard for everything he had so his bitch had to be a reflection of that.
Growing up, Stevie only had his mother. His father Steven "Pimpin' Steve" Richards was a well-known pimp back in the 70s.
At the age of 17, his mother Joseline Hernandez was his bottom bitch who happened to get pregnant.
When Pimpin Stevie found out she was pregnant, he was far from excited. He beat Joseline so bad, it was a miracle that she lived, let alone Stevie.
When he found out she planned on keeping the baby, he kicked her out without a dollar to her name. During that time, she was strung out on crack, but once she felt the life that God had blessed her with growing inside of her, she vowed to change her life around.
After Stevie was born, he and his mother lived in a shelter. She worked hard in detox to become clean. After completing her treatment, she found a job as a waitress to support Stevie.
Through all of their trials and tribulations, Stevie and his mother made it through the storms.
He loved his mom more than anything in the world, and he hated seeing her work every day just to keep food on the table, so at 14, he decided to start working too, and the streets embraced him.
A year later, Joseline died of breast cancer. Stevie was never the same after her death. The love that she had always provided him with was gone forever, and now he lived in desperation trying to find that love again.
Stevie didn't call Scrapp back. It was 12:30 a.m., so he knew that he was already with Tru.
Rushing to get to the meeting, Stevie pulled his car into a parking garage.
Tru's office was in the heart of Bunkhead. He wanted to blend in with all of the other professionals.
His building housed the lawyers that dealt with all of their legal issues, amongst accountants, and anyone else who helped to clean up his money.
