A/N Alma's outfit in the media. Again sorry about the top, still lazy enough to not want to crop my screenshot.
Ring, ring, ring.
"Hunter's morgue, you stab 'em, we slab 'em. Eightball speaking."
"You little bitch." The other line says.
"A bitch is a dog. Dogs happen to bark and bark is on a tree. Trees are mother nature and everyone knows mother nature is beautiful. What I'm trying to say is thanks for calling me beautiful. I really appreciate it." I smirk to myself.
"Alma, I'm not playing! They will kill me if they found out what I just did."
"They being...?" I ask, faking curiosity.
"You damn well know, Alma!"
"Um..." I play innocent.
"Those god damn football players are going to kill me when they found out I told you about the party, Alma!"
"Oooh, them. Yeah, that sucks." I tell Ess.
"You know what, Alma? I'm adding Jake to this call right now." Ess says, completely furious.
"How do you have his number?" Now this I am actually curious about.
"That's not important." Before I could reply, Jake speaks.
"Hello?"
"You called?" I say.
"What? No, I didn't?" He says confused.
"Yeah. Ess and I were having a very important conversation and you interuppted."
"Uh..." Ess then speaks up, trying to spoil my plan.
"Actually -"
"Actually, you could help. Ess was just telling me about the party you're having."
"WHAT?" Well, Jake seems mad.
"Bu- " Ess tries to speak again.
"Yeah, she was just about to give me more information on it when you called. It's so sweet that you guys are having a party for me and my awesomeness. Really sweet."
"Vanessa!" Jake shouts into the phone.
"Well, I got'ta go. Talk to you guys later. Or, you know, at the party. Byeee." I hang up.
Gosh I'm a genius. Always getting myself out of trouble. Not for long, though.

And I was right. I got a call about 10 minutes later.
"Shit." I mutter to myself.
I pick up. "Hello."
"Alma, you are in big trou- "
"This is Alma the Great. I'm sorry I couldn't answer the phone right now. Well, not really but it's whatever. Anyways leave a message after the beep." I wait two seconds. "Beeeeeep."
Then I wait.
"Alma, it's Ess and you need to answer my call. I hate yo- "
"Vanessa, she's on the phone. Couldn't you tell with the beep?" Gosh dammit Jake.
"Alma?" Ess asks.
I cringe, "yeah?"
"H-have you done this before?" Now she's making me feel bad.
