Pov- Unknown. Location- Earth, Unknown.

I woke with my eyes shooting open and my breathing heavy, sitting up sharply a second after I had woken. I looked around, I heard a strange voice. "Woah take it easy there. Took a long time trying to revive you, and even longer trying to find you." Revive? I was sure I died in that fight to save that town. So where am I and, more importantly, how am I even alive? I felt for any kind of radio or communication device on my body, but came up empty. Though I did find out I was wearing the same armor I had when I was in that explosion, just worn and practically useless other than for protection. All the electronics were either completely destroyed, rusted and worn beyond repair or use, or main components that were required for it to function properly were gone. I sighed and looked up when I noticed a floating cube-like object with what looks like an eye in the center. "Hi." It spoke!

Out of more shock than anything I shot to my feet and instantly regretted it as I got a massive wall of pain hit me with such force I stumbled backwards and tripped, landing back on the ground. Almost as quickly as it appeared it vanished.

"Weird." I muttered. I looked back at the cube-looking thing. "What are you?"

"I'm a Ghost. Actually, I'm your Ghost."

As I started to get back up I said "Eh, kinda makes sense." A roar sounded over the terrain. "The hell was that?"

The cube- which I now learned was a Ghost- looked around before focusing back on me. "Fallen. It's not safe out here, let's get inside the Wall, we'll be safer there." As it finished it dissolved into nothing. I looked around for it, saying "Woah, where did you go?" Within my helmet it spoke over my comm channel. "I'm in your armor. Let's get moving, I'd rather not let you die right after I revived you."

"Point taken. Hey, you got like a blowtorch or a laser on ya?"

"No, why?"

"No reason." I ran over to a car, well it's more of a shell of a car, and started ripping off a baseball bat shaped piece of metal off the car. Once it was ripped off from the car I swung it around a few times to test it out.

"What are you doing?" Asked Ghost. I didn't answer and instead ran in the direction of what I guessed was the Wall. Let's just say it's not hard to miss and has a striking resemblance to the Great Wall of China, i.e. a giant wall. After a couple minutes of running through a few corridors I got to this balcony type thing, overlooking a huge open space with slanted giant pistons. There were no lights however so I couldn't see a thing. "Let me get the lights on, Fallen thrive in the dark." Ghost materialized and went through the open space, illuminating a few Fallen crawling along the pistons. After Ghost was out of hearing range I muttered "And so do I." Soon enough the lights were on and the supposed Fallen were pissed. Ghost came back and 'handed' me an old gun. "Here, I found this. Now let's go before the Fallen find us."

I grabbed the gun while keeping the piece of metal in hand, and took off down hallways. A few Fallen jumped me and I bashed it in the face with the makeshift bat, most likely breaking its jaw (if it has one) and probably fracturing it's skull and killing it for sure. "That's what I kept this for!" I said to Ghost. Right as I was about to take off I noticed a glowing crystal on the body of the Fallen I just killed. I grabbed it, looked at it for a few seconds, then said "Welp, it'll do," and proceeded to open a little compartment on the armor piece located on my forearm of my left arm, putting the crystal in and locking it in to the energy collector nodes and closed the compartment. On my helmet UI a little 2D figure popped up on the top right corner. The figure was separated into different sections, the head, chest, arms, and legs. Everything was colored red except for the left arm, that being colored a slightly pulsing yellow. After that I resumed running down hallways.

Timeskip- a few minutes cause idk

After a little while we came upon a ship in a room looking area. I went up to it and Ghost materialized then dissolved again, I'm guessing in the ships systems. "This ship is centuries old," Ghost started, "I'm surprised the Fallen haven't stripped it clean already." Before Ghost could continue a roar sounded and a big Fallen came out of a hole in the wall to my left. "That's an Archon. Okay pulling you in."

"No!" I yelled.

"What?"

"Don't.....do whatever you're going to do yet, I want to try and kill this 'Archon' dude."

"Are you crazy?!"

"You don't know the half of it." With that I taunted the Archon, who started shooting a shotgun like weapon at me. I easily dodged each shot, trying to piss the Archon off and get him to charge at me. And it did just that, came running right at me after a minute or two of dodging shots. I heard Ghost in the background telling me to move or run, but it was all muffled. I was really just focused on my opponent, the distance between us, and the little figure in the top right corner. Once the Archon was close enough I dropped my weapons without alarming the Archon, as I needed him to be coming at me for this.

Once the Archon was within melee distance he swung at me. I easily dodged it and the Archon didn't have enough time to change course or throw another swing, giving me an opening and the chance to strike. I brought my left arm back, energy charging up in my gauntlet, and brought it forward and into the Archon's torso.

Direct hit! There was a big discharge of energy being released from my gauntlet as the Archon went flying into opposite wall, bits of its armor falling off and electronics smoking and sparking afterwards. The Archon lay dead after falling downing the ground from the impact to the wall. There were a few other Fallen that came with the Archon but they quickly scrambled to retreat after seeing what happened to their leader.

I, on the other hand, just grabbed my weapons, went over and picked up the Archon's helmet, along with other pieces of armor, and went to the ship. I was dissolved and materialized inside the ship in the pilot seat, Ghost floating next to me with a look between 'what the fuck was that' and 'how the hell did you do that'. I merely just smirked and opened the compartment on the armor on my left forearm, and pulled out the crystal from earlier, which was now dull and no longer had energy inside. "This, is how I did that." Ghost's 'face' didn't change which made me chuckle. Finally Ghost snapped out of his trance and just said "You have some explaining to do."

I shrugged and said "It was gonna happen regardless anyways."

Just another day in the life of a badass!
