You were in the gym with Steve taking out your anger on the punching bags. You had decided to take a little break but you could still hear Steve punching away on the bags. Taking a swig of your water you closed your eyes and took in a deep breath. Never did you think you would be here today with the one guy who you have loved for years. You had became friends with Black Widow. Who was there when you woke up from the ice. " I think thats all for me today Steve!" You shouted. " All right I will see you tommorrow, Y/N" he called back. You sighed and walked out to the streets. When you arrived at your apartment you set everything down and went to have a long hot shower hopefully to cool off the aches in your joints. You let out a shiver when the hot water hits your cold skin. After about an hour or so you left the heat of the shower and put on a tank top and a pair of pj pants. Letting your hair air dry you walk to the kitchen and put the kettle on. There was a sudden knock on your front door. Sighing and putting down the cup on the kitchen top you walk up to door. Not even bothered to see who it is you open it. "Y/N may I have a word?" Said the strange man. " um... okay?" You replied. "My name is Agent Phill Coulson. And I would like to give you the chance of working for sheild." He said. " Shield?" You questioned. " After you and Mr Rogers went under the ice Agent Carter and Howard Stark started an organisation to protect the peace you made by stopping hydra. We believe that you can help us." He stated. " As much as I would like to help I'm sorry my fighting days are over... the last time I lost someone very close to me." You stated looking down at feet holding back the tears. "Your brother yes. But if you do not help us many other families could be in danger. Do you remember the Tesseract?" Agent Coulson contiuted. This peaked your interest. " Hydras secret weapon yes. What about it?" You replied. " It was taken from us recently. By a person called Loki. He's not from around here." He explained whilst handing you the folder. " Right. So this guy managed to walk in and take it." You said. "Yer bascially" he replied. " Who else have you asked to join?" You questioned. "I don't know that much but I can tell that Capatain Rogers will joining as far as I know. So there will be a familair face. It's up to you." Agent Coulson said. "When do we start?" You said with a smirk on your face. " I will come by and pick you up in the morning. Thank you for co-operation Ms Barnes." He said smiling as he turned and left. You looked at the contents of the folder and read the information before re boiling the kettle and going to bed.
