You were walking through the town along side bucky. He was wearing a long sleeve top and a pair of black gloves to hide his arm. You were deep in thought as you walked. I miss you Steve. Where are you? Will Bucky let me see you or will he hurt me. They were the thoughts that ran through your head when you missed Steve. Part of you wanted to go back but you didn't want to make Bucky angry. He saved you when you fell and being here with him made you feel that you needed to help him. You had just gone in the museum exibition of Captain America and you were coming back to the aparmtent you and Bucky were laying low in. Your old apartment was close by and in the night you had wanted to go and sneak back to see if Steve was there. But Bucky would kill you if you got hurt. Maybe tonight you will vist.
~Time Skip to later that night~
Y/n this is madness. What happens if Steve doesn't let you come back? What happens if Steve wasn't there? Were the thoughts running through your mind at the moment. Yes you were running back to old apartment with Steve to see him. If he was there. Finally over comming your fears you ran to your apartment. You made sure Bucky was deeply sleeping. You were about 3 blocks till you arrived and you could hear foot prints behind you. You sped up walking. You were so focused on getting away from the creep you didn't realise you ran into someone. Steve. You looked up at him and he looked down at you. It took a while for him to register who you were. "Y/n is it really you?" He said. "Help me please Steve" you choked out. Tears were forming in your eyes as the creep was getting closer. "Come with me" he whispered holding his had out to you. You didn't grab his hand instead you grabbed his arm. Clinging to it as if you life depened on it. In this case it could. Even though you were with Steve this guy didn't stop following you. You and Steve came to your shared apartment. "What are you doing out so late?" He asked. "I could say the same with you" you replied. "I'm serious" he said his voice rising. "Um... l..looking f..for you" you stuttered. "What about Bucky?" He said. "At home. He maybe doesn't know I left" you said looking down at feet. You know exactly how he was going to react. "What!! Come on we are going back right now. Bucky will kill you" he said. He started to put on his jacket and grabbed his keys. "Proberly already knows" you muttered under your breath. When you went outside you could still see the guy. He was dressed in a full length black jacket. From where you were you could see a speck of red on his jacket. It looked like a badge. Hydra. No doubt looking for their weapon The Winter Solider. You had to be careful. "Steve. That guys from Hydra. We need to be careful. He may be looking for Bucky" you said. "Okay lets go" he said whilst stepping out on the wet, moonlight pavement with you clinging to his arm. It wasn't long until you got back to your place. The guy was no where to be seen. This worried you a bit but you didn't worry as you had Steve and your big, bad ass brother with you. When you went inside the apartment you saw Bucky at the table with his head in his hands. Soft wimpers left where he was. He was crying. "Bucky, are you alright?" You asked. "Omg, Y/n where were you?" He said looking up with blood shot eyes. "Bucky,I am soo sorry. I wanted to see Steve. I miss him." You said tears forming in your eyes looking at you broken hearted brother. He got out of the chair and ran to you. He rapped his arms around you like you would run away if he wasn't holding you. "You could of told me. I would of gone with you" he said wiping away your tears. "I know I'm sorry" you said in sobs. "We will pack uo and lay low with Steve. We can join the Avengers" he said. "Buck" you said smiling. "Yes?" He said. "I am an Avenger" you said. "Oh well i can join them" he said. "Yer" you repiled. "Just don't ever leave me" he said. "Your all the family I have. I wouldn't dream of it" you said. "I am glad" he replied. You both went to bed agreeing to pack in the morning. Steve knows nothing of this plan and you were going to surpise him.
In the morning you had packed. You ate breafast and left. You walked to Steves apartment. When you arrived you knocked on the door. A sleepy Steve opened up. "Y/n, Bucky." He said sleepily. "Mind if we lay low here instead" you said smiling. "Yes. Please" he said bringing you two into a hug. You all dreamed of this. You and Steve together and Bucky protecting you and him. You thought it would happen sooner. But with this crazy 21st century maybe just right. As long as you had each other you would live. You are with each other
