"Okay, Okay, let's go over the plan one more time."

"I hate the plan..."

"Hey, we need distractions. And judging from your last ghost experience, you seem to be perfect for them."

"Shut up, Blondie."

"Come on."

The lumberjack ghost roamed the halls of the Northwest mansion, chuckling to himself. Sure, he had lost those kids, but the party guests would arrive within minutes... After 150 years, he was finally going to get his revenge!

"Stop right there!" Dipper tore around the corner, blinking nervously. He shouted as bravely as he could, "Hey, Lumber! You couldn't find us at all! Got any brains in that head of yours? Or did that axe smush them all to mush?"

"Why you little-!" The ghost roared in fury as Dipper dashed past him, laughing. IUGHOGUOGUOGUOGR! The ghost thought as he tore after the twelve year old. Turns out, most of his brain really was mush. YFNKOSNEN REVENGE ISHEISOSHHFR HDHKDHDG NORTHWESTS YDOROSOGBEJEOSN KILL THIS LITTLE BRAT SHFKFJ!

Wow, this guy's an idiot, Dipper laughed as the ghost tore after him. That was so obviously a distraction and a taunt... Thank the axe for that. The boy led the ghost into a dark room filled with walls... A maze.

"Stupid children!" The ghost laughed. "I can pass through walls! You have no chance running!"

And with that, the ghost arrogantly flew through one of the walls... or so he thought. Instead, he found himself crashing into the other side, unable to pass. What the..? He tried to backtrack, but he couldn't escape. He was stuck in the wall! How was this possible? That's when the lights flickered on in the room, and the ghost roared in fury; the maze was made entirely out of silver mirrors.

Dipper and Pacifica high-fived as they entered the ghost's line of sight. "Wow, I honestly didn't think that this would be so easy," Pacifica laughed, a hand on her hip.

"All because of your excellent plan," Dipper agreed, punching her arm teasingly. "And I thought that all blondes were idiots."

"Hey!" Pacifica exclaimed, shoving him harshly. The two of them burst out laughing.

"Well, uh," Dipper managed after a few seconds, "I can't exactly preform the exorcism to release this guy in the middle of all these other mirrors... I need to go into the woods, make a circle of candles... Can you help me carry this huge thing?"

"Sure," Pacifica agreed, smiling. Help Dipper? Sure! Why not?  Pacifica mentally slapped herself. What was she thinking? What were these thoughts? Why did she want to be so close to this annoying boy? The annoying boy who didn't care how rich she was... who made her laugh... who shared her interests... Pacifica banished the thought, shaking her head to clear it. "On three. One, two..."

"Wait, wait, wait!" The ghost exclaimed as the twelve-year-olds lifted his mirror. "I just wanted revenge! Revenge for the good people of Gravity Falls!" Dipper paused, but then shrugged and kept walking towards the woods. The ghost decided to keep talking. "Long ago, the Northwests ordered us to build them a mansion... They said that once a year, a grand party would be held for everyone in Gravity Falls to attend... but they lied! They kept the common-folk out!"

At this, Dipper paused, uncertain. They were almost to the woods, near a cliff. Feeling encouraged, the ghost continued quickly, "With the trees cleared out, the mudslides rolled in. I said with my dying breaths, as the Northwests did nothing but watch, '150 years I'll return from death. And if the gates still closed to town, wealthy blood will stain the ground.' The curse has been passed on ever since... And this one knew about it!"

Pacifica cringed as Dipper glanced incredulously at her. "Pacifica? You... you knew about this the entire time?" He looked more shocked than angry, but she couldn't hold back the guilt. "You just hired me to get rid of your problems instead of facing them?" As Dipper was the one walking backwards, he took a step in the wrong direction: toward the cliff. As the edge was lined with bushes, Pacifica didn't notice.

"Dipper, please, I wanted to tell you," she cried. "But my father wouldn't let me! I-"

"That's besides the point, Pacifica!" Dipper screamed, outraged now. "This ghost just wanted something good for the people of Gravity Falls! He just wanted the Northwests to keep their promise!" He spun around, determined to serve the ghost the vengeance he deserved. "I'm going back in there."

"No!" Pacifica cried, gripping the mirror as tightly as she could. "If you won't get rid of this ghost, I will. Give me the mirror, Dipper!" She yanked on it as hard as she could, stumbling backwards towards the cliff without realizing.

"No!" Dipper tugged back, showing force that surprised even himself. "I'm not going to let you take it!"

"Dipper, let GO!" Pacifica gave one final tug, tripping on her own heel once again. She stumbled backwards, screaming, as the momentum dragged both she and Dipper off the cliff.
