The Lullaby

Chapter 8

Jane woke. Her head was throbbing. She was in her own bed, but the house was not the same." Where am I" Jane said rubbing her head. She heard something move in the corner of the room." Who's there" she said.

The little girl that she saw in the park stepped out of the darkness. Jane starred at her. The little girl started humming a song the Jane had never heard in her life." What are you humming" Jane asked to get her to stop. Jane was become frightened with everything that was going on.

The little girl stopped and glared at Jane, as if she had interrupted her song. The girl opened her mouth and let out a deafening scream. Jane covered her ears. Then it all stopped, the girl was gone. But Slenderman was standing in the doorway.

"So, I hear you want to kill Jeff" he said. Jane nodded." He ruined my life, I wouldn't be here if he never came into my life" she said angrily." Well, that's what I'm here for, if you're going to kill him you need some training" Slenderman said.

Jane stood up from the bed." What do I have to do" she asked. Slenderman laughed." Don't worry about anything I'll deal with the first part of this problem" he said. Jane nodded and sat back down on the bed. The little girl stepped out from behind Slenderman. Jane quickly covered her ears to be prepared for the scream.

Slenderman looked down behind him." Oh I see you met my little friend, this is Sally" he said. Jane starred at her in anger, for all of the screaming she had been doing." Sorry about all the noise she's been making, she's not used to visitors unless I'm killing them" Slenderman said. Jane laughed nervously.

There was an awkward silence in the room. Jane couldn't stop thinking about what Slenderman said. Jane knew what he was capable of. That's what frightened her the most. Slenderman finally broke the silence." Don't worry as long as you don't do anything stupid, like running back to Jeff, you should be fine" he said.
