Flutterbreeze was snoring lightly in the nest that she was sharing with a bunch of cats. Even though they were squashed together, she didn't mind, because there was heat radiating off the other cat's fur and pelt, which soothed Flutterbreeze. Until Amberstone kicked her. She awoke with a start. "W-Wha?" She yawned, sleepily. It was the middle of the night. "What now...?" She rubbed her eyes, as they adjusted and she made out the shape of her sister. "Wake up! Ugh, the leaders are making an announcement, DUH." Amberstone rolled her eyes, then whipped around to sit in the middle, under the cliff. "The warriors have found a good place for the clans to settle." The leaders began. "Yes, Windclan has a outstretched moor." Cloverstar beamed, happily. "And Shadowclan has a hidden dark camp." Brackenstar followed, nodding. "Riverclan has a wet territory, with rivers full of fish." Pebblestar continued, her eyes gleaming. "And Thunderclan has a great forest with scents of prey everywhere." Snakestar ended as mumbles and cheers erupted from the crowd of cats. "Ugh, if I was leader, I would find MUCH more better camps!" Amberstone rolled her eyes and the cheers became silent. "What do you mean, warrior?" Cloverstar frowned, gazing upon Amberstone. "I mean that, I would banish EVER ugly cat, like this one," Amberstone straightened her back and kicked Flutterbreeze. She squeaked, tumbling forward, looking at Meadowlark, only seeing her nod in approval. "And that's not all! I would make every pretty cat my BEST friend! Isn't that AMAZING?" Amberstone pushed the leaders off the cliff, jumping onto the ledge herself. "And I have some words to say, including my mother." Meadowlark purred, sniggering, as she leapt up the jagged edge. "Flutterbreeze, you don't deserve your life. And I have a...true...rumor to share to everyone." Flutterbreeze looked up at her mother in disbelief, completely confused. "My IMPERFECT daughter is mean! She hurt Amberstone! See!" Meadowlark lifted Amberstone's paw, and there was a crimson red scar on it. The silver she-cat squinted her eyes, to see that it was just Juniper berry juice. "That's not blood!" Flutterbreeze leapt up, screeching. "Oh yes? How do you prove it?" Meadowlark snapped, close to Amberstone. "It's Juniper!" She took a chunk of the berry off her sister's paw, and licked it. "See?" But to her surprise, the cats in the crowd simply looked scared and disgusted. "She licked another cat's blood!" "No, it was a part of her flesh!" "She's a cannibal!" "She's DISGUSTING!" "Now I see that she is ugly too!" The cats chorused in agreement. Flutterbreeze looked up at Meadowlark, only seeing more ambition glinting in her eyes. I hate my family.
