The Enderborn, The Bitch And The Wardrobe

Matthew's P.O.V

It has been almost 5 hours since Mitchell started working on the molecular assemblers and he still sounds pissed off at the fact that Skyla is coming round and I understand what she did was bad but not bad enough for the amount of tools and things I can hear being thrown around in his lab. Then I hear the intercom of the factory buzz as Skyla presses the switch outside. "Guy babe" I say whilst walking over to her to give her a kiss on the cheek, just as I kissed her I heard an explosion come from upstairs, "Shit!" Is all I heard from Mitchell so I told Skyla to sit down as I went to investigate and when I saw it even I was amazed. "How the hell have you managed this?" I said to Mitchell as the remains of molecular assembler three was smoldering in a pile on the factory floor. "I thought it was jammed so I opened it and then this happened" Mitchell said gesturing to the room around him. "Well can you fix it...preferably on your own?" I ask him with a pleading voice hoping he understands what I am getting at. "Is Skyla downstairs?" He asks me
"Yeah she is why?" I respond to which I can see him rolling his eyes behind his goggles "Yeah you had better go before she comes up here to disturb me" he says sounding slightly relieved to have no chance of seeing her. "Dude what else is it you don't like about her? This is for more than just the pranks?" I ask him getting slightly upset with his hate for my long time girlfriend, "She is not right for you mate, all she does is spend your gold, drink our alcohol and get drunk with her friends. She is hiding something aswell I can sense it in her aura" he says in a way that makes me feel like he has a point. "You know what Mitchell I am tired of this learn to live with it I love her and she loves me. I don't care of you are the last of your species or an ancient warrior. You are meant to be my friend and you are supposed to support me!" I yell at him so that he can't sense I am seeing his point of view and I leave quickly so he can't get a word in as I see Skyla in the main hall I hold her hand and we walk off to our meal.

We are in the finest restaurant in the whole of Icaria, one of the bonuses of owning a large company is the amount of gold it produces, so we are sat at our table waiting for a waiter and that is when Skyla speaks "Matthew I think you are great and everything but I have a problem, I don't know if I love you anymore I have been feeling like this for a while and I decided I had to tell you" what is all I can think, this was one of the moments where life slows down and I looked at myself from outside of my body I can tell that every neuron in my brain is trying to process the information that has just been given to me. "B-b-but I love you" Is all I can force out to her "I know but I don't feel the same about you and I think it is best I told you anyway I am going to go I am sorry" She says standing up and walking out. I am sat here at a table on my own about to have a breakdown so I calmly stand up leave a few gold pieces on the table and walk out. The ocean air hits me as soon as I opened the restaurant door and step outside, I can hear the waves lapping onto the shore line and then I let it all out in the middle of the street I just shouted towards the heavens hoping that one of the gods would hear me. Then I made my way toward a bar.

Mitchell's P.O.V

As soon as matt walks through the door if can smell the liquor on him, all my senses are going crazy at this sight in front of me. "What the fuck happend to you?" I say to him slowly so he can understand me. "I don't want you to say the words, the four words that if you say them I will kill you" he slurrs whilst holding onto the door frame. "Okay I won't say the words which I don't even know what they are!" I say to him rather annoyed at the state that he is in. Then he breaks down on to his knees sobbing saying "She left me everything you said is true! Why, why can't you be wrong just once" he says half sobbing half chuckling. "Come on then let's get you to bed and sort this out in the morning when you will remember it all" I say in the middle of picking him up and helping him to his room. Them I went back downstairs to read my book.

The next morning I was in the garage working on the new version of the engine we were planning on selling in one of our cars when matt poked his head in the door with what looked like one of the worst hangovers I have ever seen. "You alright pal?" I say to him in a loud voice to which he just gave me a death glare and sulked off so I gave him time to get over the hangover whilst I worked on the engine. When I had it outputting double the power of the competitor companies version I went to find matt and what I saw was pathetic, he was sat in the floor looking at photos of him and Skyla. "Dude stop it will only hurt out more, what you need it to forget about her and move on " I say to him to which he just looks at me with tears in his eyes and responded with "but I loved her" whilst beginning to cry heavily. This was going to be a long period of time.

Hi people, one break up for matt poor him and poor Mitchell is gonna have to look after him, this is a boring chapter I know but it needed to be done if you are reading this cheers I will try and update the story often and drop me a message to say hi, till the next time bye :)
