Sorry this is a bit of a filler. It's a bad week for me.... Father's Day isn't my favorite day and rent was due. However, big thanks to gracie_ghost for being my new beta reader!!

"And then he left." Mitch concluded, slumping down into the comfy cushions of the yellow sofa he was seated on. He was met with silence, and he couldn't help but bitterly think that this was becoming too normal for his liking. He stared down at his hands, which were slowly dripping sweat onto his pants. When he looked up, he realized that everyone was staring at him. He swallowed a lump from his throat. Quentin was the first to shatter the silence.
"This is... this is ridiculous." He hissed. The Mudkip stood up, startling Ian who had been in deep thought next to him, and started pacing. Mitch flinched at the harsh statement and went back to staring at his hands. A moment later he noticed the noises of Quentin's pacing had ceased and Mitch looked up to see that Ian had grabbed one of Quentin's hands in an attempt to calm him down. "No, this is stupid Ian!" Husky complained to the brunette, his tone a little softer than it had been. "We risked our lives for him before because he was our friend and he had been in trouble. This...this isn't our fight!"
"Yes, it is." Ian stated which was odd for the male, who normally shied away from these things. He sighed, still clutching his friend's hand. "Listen," He started, addressing everyone, "It- it may not seem like it is our problem now, but if- from what I've heard here- if Herobrine wins, and he gets control of all the mobs and is able to get a powerful demon into our world- err, plane, or whatever - then he's going to cause some damage. He could take over our world." Ian's words hung in the air, as heavy as deep snow.
"Life as we know it, life as we need it to be, could change. So... yes, this is our problem. And what are we going to do about it?" He asked, leaning back as if the gravity of his speech was weighing down on him.
Sky ran his hands through his curly brown hair, sighing through his nose. "What are we going to do about...? I...I don't know." He says in a defeated way. He looked up to the silent room. "Do we risk our lives?" He inquired. Silence again. "Are we doing this?" He asks, this time louder. Seto and Brice, who had been contacted and had teleported over the morning after the midnight appointment, stood up.
"We should." Seto said first. Brice nodded, wrapping his arms around Seto's shoulder in a comforting manner.
"L-Like Ian said, if Herobrine wins this war, we are going to be in deep trouble." Seto continues, blushing slightly at the warm touch of his lover.
Sky stood up in a commanding stance, his back straight and arms crossed. The serious expression he wore was enough to carry the mood. "Alright then. Let's vote. It has to be unanimous though; everyone has to agree. All those in favor of going and fighting, raise your hands and say aye." He says. After a few seconds tick by, he nods and notes the answers his friends give. "I guess it's useless to ask of anyone wants to stay as it seems we all agree that we're going to kick Herobrine's ass." He says, an impish smirk on his face. The room erupted in cheers.'Herobrine, watch out.' Mitch thought, feeling his spirits lift. 'We're coming for you.'
