They all have gotten older. This year they all start senior year of high school. Eleanor became the school nerd. She didn't think much of it at all. All she wanted was to finish high school make Derek realized she was more than just some to bully and pick on. Now Derek and his crew were the kings and queens of the school. Derek on the other hand was just trying to convince Eleanor that he was different from all the rest. Also to get good grades but for now he'll be the popular kid who secretly fell for a nerd.
